New unexpected Beginning(part 2)

It's my first night here and it's now midnight and I can't fall asleep.
I'm thinking it's because I'm not used to here.   I woke up early in the morning to make breakfast for Jay, showing gratitude for letting me stay.
He woke up and saw all the dishes on the table." Wow that looks delicious" he said.  "It's for you" I answered back. He sat and eat the breakfast I prepared while I went back to my room. My room wasn't that fancy or pretty it was a basic ordinary room. It had white old curtains that probably haven't been washed in a long time..
The walls had holes that were probably made by someone who probably punched them. Anyways it wasn't any recent house that I was living in.
Jay was about to leave for work but he called me and told me " I'm leaving you can do whatever you want but please don't go in there" he pointed at a room, the door had 2 locks on it. "I won't, have a great day at work!" I said.
He nod his head and left.

I decided to start cleaning the house and also start unpacking my stuff. I saw the letter my parents left for me again and felt so lonely...   Imagine your mom or dad or both leaving your side all of a sudden when they have been with you since birth. The only thing on this letter was that I remember my moms writing was different, I'm not sure maybe she wrote it a long time ago or someone else wrote it.
I started searching around my bags to see if I had any sheet of paper that had my mom's writing on it so I could compare it with the letter. I found nothing. However, I went through the messages my mom and I had on my phone. I realized that something was wrong, because my moms grammar was way different than the one on the letter. My mom would always send messages shorter for example "gm bby" as if " Good morning baby" but on the letter the words were complete which was why I was wondering if someone else wrote it or she wrote it but a long time ago..
But if she wrote it a long time ago than how come Jay's address be the same? We had zero contact with him.

When I was showering I heard someone banging on a door. I thought it might have been Jay who came early or maybe it was a visitor, but who would visit at this time it's 11p.m and nobody's home except me.
I got out the shower and walked to the front door. When I opened the door there was no one outside. Maybe it's just wind.
I went back to my room and heard someone bang on the door again but this time since I was in my room I heard it coming from a different direction. I was scared.
I called Jay to ask when he was coming back home..   He told me he was going to work extra-hours today so I shouldn't wait for him because he was gonna come back late.
I decided to relax and try not think about anything. I layed on my bed and turn the light off. I couldn't fall asleep so I decided to get up and go to the kitchen to drink some water. The hallway was so lonely and dark. It was 2 in the morning and I was home alone.
When I was pouring water in my cup I hard a BANG again. 
Then the thing I could never imagine it would happen.. "STOP!" Someone shout.
I had my eyes wide opened, my heart pounding so fast, and my hands shaking..
I ran to my room the fastest I could.
I shut the door!
I was standing in a corner of my room with a lamp in my hands in case someone decided to go in my room.
I was so Scared I started sweating.
When I realized I had fall asleep.
Woke up the next day and hurried to ask Jay if there someone else living on this house!!
But he had already left to work.  I was left alone again scared there's someone in here with me!.
