"Babe, We've got to go." Ezra woke me up.
I grabbed my bag, and we were on our way.We continued to drive, and then we reached our final hotel. I saw jarred. He looked tired.
"Hi," I said.
"Oh good, you're not dead." He said.
"Jarred!" Ezra said in a stern tone.
"What? Jerrica is out for herself." Jarred answered.
"I didn't want any of this," I answered.
"Grow up, Jerrica; This is hell for all of us." He continued. "We don't need your selfish ass. We don't need you! We have Danny!"
"Jesus, Jarred," Ezra said.
"Well, good news for you, Jarred, I'm not leaving," I looked at Ezra, "Again." He grabbed my hand.
"Why do you love someone like that?" Jarred questioned.
"Shut up, Jarred," Ezra shouted angrily.
Ezra began to walk closer, and then Jarred blasted him with a lightning bolt.
"NO!" I screamed.
Then Jarred got in the car, leaving us in the dust. I began to cry when someone walked in front of me.
"Come on, Jerrica, help me get him up," Danny said.
We walked into the hotel. I then dug into Ezra's sweatshirt and grabbed Jarred's wallet. I went up to the lady behind the desk.
"Is he okay?" She asked.
"He's fine; he just passed out on our way here," I explained.
"Oh!"
"We need one day here."
"Okay, three-fifty a night."
"Geez, where are we? New York?"
"Yes."
We were so close; I took Ezra to the second floor of the hotel. Danny helped with getting things out of the way. We finally got to the hotel room. I threw him onto the bed, and Danny and I sat on the floor.
"So," I said.
"So." He answered.
"You stayed!"
"Yeah, I couldn't leave my family."
"Thanks."
"Are you staying?"
"Yes, of course, I'm not going to leave the group again."
"Jer, why him?"
"He's made me feel normal throughout all of this."
"Oh."
"What?"
"You like him."
"He's one of my best friends; I love him."
"I love you too, nerd," Ezra said.
Ezra sat up on the bed. I put my head back, and Ezra put his legs around me.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi!" He answered.
"How much have you heard?"
"All of it."
"Cool."
"You love me."
"Duh, You dork."
He leaned down and kissed me.
"So what now?" I asked.
"We go to Inedale," Ezra answered.
"We're going home," Danny responded.
"We need to make some changes."
"What?"
"You two are too recognizable," He continues. "Danny, you have to get a buzz cut, and Jerrica, you're going to get a pixie."
"Ew no," I responded.
"It's for our safety."
"Okay fine."
"How are we going to get there if we don't have a car!" Danny pipped in.
"Mom works in mysterious ways," I said.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
I suddenly saw the black key once again.
"Danny!" I pointed at the keys.
"What the fuck?"
"Don't think about it."
"Let's go."
Ezra got up and put his arms around me. We headed downstairs. Ezra stopped me.
"Hey, Danny." Ezra continued. "Go have some me time."
He threw the keys to Danny.
"Okay." He said, leaving us.
Ezra grabbed my hand.
"I need to talk to you," Ezra explained.
"Okay," I responded.
He led me to our room once again. He closed the door.
"Yes?" I asked.
He slowly walked up to me. He began to kiss my neck.
"Oh."
I turned and jumped, wrapping my legs around him.
"Can we?" He asked.
"Yes."
Our electricity never felt this strong before. Everything ended with us holding each other.
"Why don't we finally get married?" Ezra questioned.
"What?" I questioned.
"Why not?"
"We are seventeen."
"So, I love you so much."
"Same," I kissed him. "Let's do it."
"Really?"
"Yeah." I laughed. "This is crazy.
We kissed.
"I don't want to leave this ever," Ezra said.
"Neither do I," I said.
"Then marry me."
"I will."
"Okay, let's go!"
Ezra got up, still naked. I got up laughing, and I went up to him and grabbed his face.
"Sweetie, you need clothes," I said.
"Bet," Ezra responded.
"I love you, dork." I kissed him.
