Then it happened

A Miracle

As I watched the ambulance drive away I realised something strange. The ambulance started to drive slow then it came to a stop.

Why did it stop? I asked myself then I started to walk back towards the house but then I heard something.

MA'AM MA'AM YOUR... YOUR.. YOUR.. SON.. HE'S ALIVE!!!!!

WHAT! I screamed then ran to the ambulance.

JOHNNNY I yelled and gave him a big long hug!

Mom? He questioned

Yes johnny I'm here.

Then he smiled and huged me again.

He may have some head tramma but should be okay. The officer explained

Thank you for all you have done I can't thank you enough!

No problem its the least I can do to save a child.

I held Johnny in my arms and brought him safely to the house and layed him down and took care of him rarely taking my eyes off him.

Never go on the road again I explained to him, or at least without me.

Okay. He said softly

I love you mom. He whispered

I love you way more son, I always will and never forget that.

Okay.

I hugged him until we both fell asleep together.

It was a miracle I kept thinking to myself.
