So, how is it that after I posted the chapter, my tinnitus came 'whap bam'
Like huh? Like right after I posted it my tinnitus decided to be like "hey let's make this a nightmare for Dem."
If you don't know what tinnitus is here's a medical definition I found:
Tinnitus is when you experience ringing or other noises in one or both of your ears. The noise you hear when you have tinnitus isn't caused by an external sound, and other people usually can't hear it. Tinnitus is a common problem. It affects about 15% to 20% of people, and is especially common in older adults.
But because I'm profoundly deaf, it's more common and happens a lot to me. It happens daily but tonight, it's when putting my implants on won't help😒
So, here's a life lesson.
Being deaf is cool but has more cons than pros. I think-
