"You're here now."

Jungkook heart had jumped out of his chest at those words. Being around the mysterious boy was making him feel all kinds of emotions and he didn't know how much longer he could endure the excessively warm and fuzzy feelings that were taking over him. He grabbed Taehyung's hand and led him to a set of stairs carved in the rock, suppressing his urge to hug the boy to death. "Come. I want to show you something."

The steps took them to a small ledge on the mountain slope, and they both shivered under the gust of winds swirling around the steamy hot spring that overlooked a bare and lonely valley. Following Jungkook's lead, the prince quickly jumped in the water, marvelling at the delightful sensation of chilliness and warmth on his skin.

"Look up!" said the dwarf, pointing at the nearby white summit, which sparkled under the sun.

"Wow! Is that snow?"

"It is! And this is now my favourite spot in the whole world."

"Why's that?"

"Because the snow reminds me of your hair."

Taehyung playfully threw water at him. "What are you implying? That I look old?"

"Maybe?" replied the other teasingly, splashing back. "Perhaps I should call you Snow Tae!"

"If I recall correctly, Yoongi's hair is whiter than mine."

"True. But in his defence, Yoongi hyung really is a grandpa."

They both laughed and went back to their water fight. They had long turned into prunes when they felt overcome with somnolence.

"Tae, time to head home."

The sleepy boy agreed, dreading to fall asleep in the middle of a pool.

"What is this?"

The outfit that had been laid out on the bed for him was not at all what he had expected. Taehyung opened the door and yelled down the hallway. "JIMIN!"

The pink-haired dwarf rushed over. "So you found it? Did you try it on? Does it fit you?" he asked, excitement in his voice.

"No."

"Oh. Is it too big perhaps? Or too small?"

"No, I didn't try it on because I think it's a mistake."

"What do you mean?"

"Jimin, it's a dress."

"—So?"

"Oh. So you meant for me to wear a dress?"

"A dress and a bow in your hair. I'm positive you'll look great. Plus it's Fiery Friday! You must doll up! Come. I'll help you."

First the hot springs. Now the dress. Next this Fiery Friday event no one cared to explain. There sure were a lot of things the prince had to get used to. Adjusting to his new companions' lifestyle would take a while. And although Taehyung was not one to complain, the peculiarity of their routine did not evade him.

The meals for instance. Oats. Chickpeas. Lentils. Rice... All grains prepared with spices he had never tried before, and a mixture of dried herbs and roots. Jin hyung's dishes tasted wonderful but Taehyung pondered if they ever ate meat or fresh fruits and vegetables.

"Taehyung?"

Jimin was waving his hand in front of the young man's eyes, jolting Taehyung out of his considerations. "Ah yes. Sure. A little help would be nice. Thank you."
