What happens when Ironwood tries to open a portal to another world but opens to another dimension entirely? What will happen when he realizes he unleashed creatures upon his world?
Gunshots echoed throughout the destroyed city of Mistral as demons flooded into the streets, growling as they rushed towards their adversary.
BANG
Another gunshot rung out as another demon fell. Adding more to the pile around him as an imp lunged at him from above.
BANG
The imp crashed into the building as it laid lifeless while another imp threw a fireball at the slayer.
SHANK
The imp growled angrily before it was pulled towards the slayer. The imp flailed its arms at the slayer before being slammed onto the ground. The imp hissed at the slayer before its head was crushed, going motionless as the bloodied slayer slowly looked up at the destroyed city.
Slayer: Another gone. He thought to himself as he looked at the rubble before him.
The residents on the ground, their lifeless eyes staring at him as blood filled the streets. Blood splattered all over the city as bits of flesh were scattered around every corner.
???: Slayer. He heard a familiar voice.
Slayer: What is it Vega.
Vega: There is an airfield near where you are. Get to the airfield and plug me into the computer and we can fly to Vale. It said as the slayer slowly walked through the destroyed city.
The slayer slowly walked through the city as he scanned the area around him. Seeing the deceased around him as their lifeless eyes stared at him. The slayer continued to scan the area before seeing a mother holding onto her child, scratch markings on her back as blood slowly dripped to the ground.
THUD
An imp dropped down onto the ground before rushing towards the slayer, its claws going towards him.
THUD
The imp hissed angrily as it tried to claw his hand around its throat, its claws unable to penetrate his armor.
SNAP
The imp went motionless in his hand as its arms went limp. The imp fell to the ground as the slayer walked away, clenching his rifle tightly as it cracked.
To Olivia
Olivia was standing near a cliff as she overlooked the city of Vale, seeing the demons pour into the city as screams of horror echoed.
Olivia: Hmm... She thought to herself before seeing a mother holding a child on top of a roof in front of a group of imps before being grabbed by a Gargoyle.
???: My queen, what should we do about the barrier. A voice asked as Olivia watched the mother be carried away, her screams ringing out through the city.
???: What are we going to do. The voice said as Olivia slowly turned her head to see the Marauder.
Olivia: Call it off. She orders.
Marauder: Yes my queen. He said before walking through a portal, leaving her alone on the cliff as she rubbed her head.
Olivia: Damn it, why now. She cursed to herself as a memory flashed through her head.
Flashback
Olivia: W-Where are we going? She asked as she riding on his back.
Slayer: Somewhere safe. He said as he walked through a city.
Olivia: R-R-Really? She asked, holding onto him tightly as he held his shotgun in hand.
Slayer: Yes. He said as he continued walk before turning to a dark hallway.
Olivia: A-A-A-Are we going in there? She asked with fear as the slayer slowly approached it, holding his shotgun up as a light scanned them.
???: Welcome back Slayer. A voice was heard as Olivia slowly lifted her head up.
Olivia: W-W-Who was that? She asked.
Slayer: Vega. He said as a portal slowly formed in front of them.
The two slowly went through the portal before appearing in a dark room with a large glass.

Olivia: Wow. She said as she looked around in awe.
Olivia: This is awesome. She said with a smile before looking at him typing on a computer.
Olivia: I-I never got your name. She said, rubbing her arm.
Slayer: Slayer. He said as he contnued to type.
Olivia: I...mean your real name. She said as she looked at him.
Slayer: Slayer. He repeated himself as Olivia sighs.
Olivia: How about Y/N?
Flashback Ends
To Slayer
The slayer was standing in the bulkhead as he looked out the window seeing nothing but smoke and rubble.
???: Slayer. There seems to be a large number of argent energy near Vale and...
Slayer: Olivia.
Vega: Correct. What shoul-
Slayer: Go faster. He said before sitting down and grabbing a rifle.
Slayer: I need to stop her. To stop all of this.
