Chapter 27: Niki's POV

Niki POV

I watched how the skull went to Fundy and it hit him directly, I stopped running as my eyes were widened in shock..

The smoke all went away and I saw how Fundy is just laying there..with no movements...His eyes were closed and there was a blood puddle underneath his body...

I was frozen...I can't believe what I am seeing...I see everything around me turned into slow motion and the only thing I can hear right now is my shaking heartbeat...

I snapped back into reality when I realise that the wither was about to shoot a fireball at me, I almost got hit by its attack but luckily I dodged it just in time

I started to sprint to where Fundy is laid down as the wither continued to shoot at me with its skulls, I endlessly started to dodge all of it's attacks making me loose my stamina

I decided to trick the wither making me go inside of my small bakery and I ran outside again, the Wither was stuck! but it won't be stuck for long

Fundy was being squished by blocks of dirt and cobble as I reached out to him and started to take out everything that is squishing him to death

When it was all gone I grabbed his waist and pulled him up as I was now carrying him, He was quite heavy but no need to complain for that now

I ran with him on my arms and I heard the wither going to us, Shit! I continued to ran

I was dodging the wither's attacks, I just wished someone would take care of it! I was about to go into a destroyed house to make it stuck for a short time but the wither caught up onto me and it shooted a skull in front of me making me jumped back in surprise

My butt fall onto the floor my hands still clinging on Fundy

With no reaction I turned around and saw the wither in front of me...fuck, I can't run anywhere else since I am all out of stamina and was extremely tired

I held Fundy besides me protecting him from getting hit first as I just closed my eyes and waited for the attack

But nothing

I just heard it died and felt it fall onto the ground to die

I re-opened my eyes and saw what happened, There was a person in front of me wearing a mocha hoodie and has black cat ears with a tail? It is a hybrid then..

The hybrid turned around with his sword on his hands walking towards us, I backed away with Fundy on my arms until my back hit the wall

The hybrid stopped walking and smiled warmly at me?

"Don't worry I won't hurt you" He said handing a hand out for me to take...I don't know if I should trust

But at the end I decided to take it, he pulled me up with Fundy

He introduced himself "My name is antfrost or you can call me Ant for short" he said smiling warmly at me

I had to admit it, he was being nice, I guess I should trust this guy..

"My name is Niki...also can you please help with my friend who is in my arms?" I asked looking at Fundy

He nodded and lead me at somewhere where we could rest for awhile..inside of the van

He picked up my friend and laid him on a counter, I sat on the floor to watch him

He first check for Fundy's pulse...When he was done he slowly let go of Fundy's hand and check the cabinets for something

I look at Fundy with a sad expression on my face, I hope he is okay

Ant took out some potions and a med kit as he worked on covering up Fundy's wounds, I watched him do the work and when he was done he picked up Fundy again and put him on a sleeping bag? Wait how did that get there?

He turned his head to look at me and nodded signaling me that Fundy was okay...Thank gosh

"Thank you so much ant, I owe you big time" I said thanking him

He just shook his head "its fine no need to get me anything, Glad I could help" He said

We just stood there in silence, I sat down on a counter and just stared at Fundy

"Hey I gotta go and help out your friends make sure to watch over that furry okay?" he said as I chuckled, Good thing Fundy isn't awake since if he heard this man he would be pissed

He walked out of the van leaving me and Fundy alone

Hope the others are okay out there...

Maybe I should re-build the Van a bit so that it will protect us I guess

I stand up and soon enough started to cover up the Van's damages
