Solar eclipses are how you get the best sword in the game. You need to have at least 3 solar eclipses to get the sword. The enemy's that spawn during a solar eclipse are: reaper(rare drop is the death sickle), eyezor, Frankenstein and swamp thing. A solar eclipse is rare in hardmode.
