Y/N POV
We arrived at the mall and we got out of the car. James took my hand and we walked into the mall. The stores I went to with James were Forever 21,Victorias Secret and rue 21. James and I went to his stores next. We went to a hat store and we are now going in vans. As James and I look around, I see someone familiar. Jake. We make eye contact and he comes over to me.
"Hey y/n!"he smiles.
"Oh my god hi Jake,"we hug and James noticed. James walked over to me and Jake. James grabbed my hand to show that we were dating.
"I haven't seen you in such a long time,"he smiles.
"Yeah it's really nice to see you again,"I smile. James looks confused.
"James this is Jake, my best friend and Jake this is James, my boyfriend,"I smile as they shake hands. James takes my hand again.
"Want to maybe hang out tomorrow or something?"Jake asks.
"Sure,"I smile.
"Alright I need to go. Text me,"he says.
"Bye,"I smile.
James and I walk out of the mall and to the car. We get in the car and drive home. James hasn't talked to me at all. We got home soon and went inside. James sat on the couch and watched tv. I just sat on the couch with him. James' show was over so he turned off the tv.
"What's wrong James?"I ask.
"What do you mean?"he asks.
"You're acting weird James. Why aren't you talking to me?"I say hurt.
"I don't wanna talk about it. It won't end well,"he says.
"Please tell me,"I say.
"Fine. That Jake guy. Is he an ex?"he asks.
"No. I don't have feelings for him. He's my best friend. We've known each other for a long time. He's my friend. Nothing more. You know that I only like you,"I say.
"Sorry. I'm just jealous. I guess I don't want to lose you,"he says.
"You won't lose me,"I say.
I lay my head on his chest and he placed a light kiss on my forehead. I smile.
"Thank you for buying me things today. You really didn't need to,"I say.
"I didn't need to. I wanted to. And you're welcome,"he smiles.
It was 8:00 and James and I were in the living room, facing each other. He put his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around him. He kissed my lips softly. He kissed me 3 more times and smiles.
"I'm so tired,"I say as I hug him.
"Wanna go to bed?"he asked.
"It's too early though,"I say.
"Get some sleep. Aren't you hanging out with Jake tomorrow?"he asks.
"I'm not sure yet,"I say.
"Let's just go to sleep. I'm also tired,"he yawned and I laugh.
He takes my hand and we walk upstairs to the bedroom and lay down in bed. I face James.
"I need to tell you something,"James says.
"What is it?"I ask.
"I love you,"he says for the first time.
"I love you too,"I smile.
I turn around and James wraps his arms around my waist. I fall asleep in his arms.
