As soon as Bronwen had finished setting up the cafe with y/c, she put her apron on, delicately braiding her hair into a bun, doing the same with Naomi.

"Today, you can help me bring food out, alright? When you're older, you'll be able to take care of the cafe," she explained, gently kissing Naomi's forehead.

After a few hours, the cafe got pretty busy, customers coming and going of all races, except for Avians. No one had seen an Avian in town, except for the young maiden who owned the cafe, in centuries.

Suddenly, a man in a black cloak walked into the cafe, his hood shadowing his face, making his facial features hidden. With a huff, he sat down at one of the tables, away from everyone else.

Bronwen looked at him, her eyebrows furrowing out of wariness, and after a few short seconds, she hesitantly approached the man.

"Hello, what mag I get you?" she asked softly and kindly.

The man only seemed to glance at her, not saying a word as his gaze turned to Naomi, as Takashi was upstairs taking a nap.

With a gruff, he looked back up to Bronwen, "You're child is a hybrid. You're an Avian, aren't you?" he asked, to which she nodded.

"Y-Yes sir, is there a problem with that?" she asked hesitantly, taking a glance at her lover and their child, her eyes seeming slightly frightful.

"I'll take a small coffee for the road," he answered, his gaze returning to the vase of flowers on the table.
