That was awkward..." Alisha laughed when Adonis returned from kicking Parker and her mom out.
"I'm sorry about that. I didn't know she still had a key" Adonis got back into bed and Alisha snuggled up close to him.
"It's okay. I hope I didn't ruin anything"
"Nah, there's nothing to ruin. Me and her are done. She did her shit and I'm doing mine" he shrugged.
"Good for you.... if we're done here though, I'm going to go ahead and leave" Alisha sat up and Adonis looked at her while stroking the side of her face.
"Why? Stay"
"I can't. I have something to do in the morning"
"Oh. Okay" Adonis got out of bed and put on some boxers and basketball shorts. Alisha got dressed and followed Adonis back downstairs.
"I'll take you home to make sure you get there safe"
"You sure? It's late" Alisha grabbed her Vans from the shoe closet.
"Yes I'm sure. Get your stuff and let's go"
Alisha got her bag and followed Adonis into his garage where they got into his matte black G-Wagon.
"Wow. You really have it all" Alisha buckled herself in.
"Nah... I don't. All the money in the world can't even begin to make me happy. None of this shit makes me happy. I used to be happy though, until..." Adonis' words trailed off.
"Until you lost your wife. That's understandable" Alisha touched Adonis' hand and they were silent for a while.
"Yea..."
"This whole bachelor lifestyle isn't you. You love your wife, go fix whatever is broken"
"Shit, I don't know if I can at this point"
"Well try"
"I was hoping we could see each other again.." Adonis looked at Alisha and she smiled.
"You can have me one last time. After that, go handle your business"
After a nice long farewell fuck in the backseat of his car, Adonis dropped Alisha off at home. He watched her walk away and felt like a bitch for being sad about it.
The next day, Adonis reached out to Parker on Instagram to meet up for drinks and dinner. She agreed and they decided on a low key spot outside of LA.
