But the basic experience of getting sick, treated by doctor's, having a proper diet, facing medical challenges and others remains the same.

Hospitals can be a very scary place for most people. They are filled with sick bed ridden beings and terrible news. Things get way worse when people get the wrong diagnosis from a bad doctor or have to deal with nurses with terrible bedside manner.
Instead of leaving feeling better and healed, as doctors and nurses should do, patients leave feeling much worse than when they first arrived.
