i smile at the tray full of snacks and treats in my hands. i just put tyler in the bath, and as a treat i've decided to make him a little cinema setting.

my laptop in the bathroom already, i'll be putting on a movie for his big-space, candles and all the treats he could possibly want.

"mm~ josh?" tyler's call echoes around the bathroom and to me, my smile widens at hearing his voice as i enter the bathroom.

"hey, love. since you've been so brave these past few weeks you are having a bath-time cinema" i chuckle, and his eyes go wide at all the treats in the large tray.

"really?" he asks, a smile creeping onto his soft features as he eyes the popcorn on the tray.

"yes, my boy! you deserve it. i'm going to put these snacks on the toilet lid within hand reach for you alright? what movie would you like to watch?" i ask, setting the tray down and moving to the laptop on the bathroom counter.

"mm~ a zombie movie please, j." he says softly, leaning back into the bath and basking in the warmth it surrounded him with.

"alright, love. what about 'world war z'" i ask, reading the synopsis of the movie and finding it a perfect match.

"sure, i don't think i've watched that one."

"great." i reply, turning it on and putting the volume to an appropriate level.

ah! candles!

i walk around the bathroom grabbing the large collection of candles i own, all different scents, before lining them up on the counter and pulling a lighter out of my pocket.

"i love candles!" i hear tyler behind me, and my expressionless face suddenly has a smile plastering it, everything he says makes me smile.

"good, because we have.." i count the candles. "9 of them" i chuckle, lighting each one with the yellow lighter and placing them around the bathroom, playing the movie and turning off the light.

there is enough light that he's safe, but he's still comfortable.

"would you like a bath pillow, my love?" i ask, walking to the bathroom cabinet and pulling out a waterproof cushion.

"please" he nods, shoving a piece of popcorn into his mouth before signing in satistfaction, visibly relaxing.

"just call me if you need me to heat up the bath, i'll be doing some housework." i say, leaving the bathroom, making sure to keep the bathroom door open a bit so i can hear the boy.

walking into the living room, i potter around cleaning up any mess and making it all cosy and warm.

i really regret yesterday, and i don't think he remembers it, but that's not the point. he's my prince, my king even, and he needs to be treated like one.

"t, what would you like for dinner?" i call.

"anything, love!" i hear him reply, the pet name making a small blush form on my pale cheeks.

as a treat, i decide on ordering an indian takeaway, knowing it's his favourite food and i cannot for the life of me cook a curry.

opening my phone i go onto the 'uber eats' app, choosing what we both may like and clicking order, scheduling the delivery for and hour and a half from now, when he gets out of the bath.

i finish cleaning the downstairs, making my way upstairs and cleaning his nursery.

he will probably stay big tonight, but just in case i pull out all the necessities for his little-space, including a pacifier and a snap-crotch onesie.

"daddy?" i hear my little love call.

"baby boy?" i reply, sprinting downstairs to make sure the small boy was okay.

"hi!" he chuckles. he's not small?

"you aren't small? are you okay?" i ask, walking to him and ruffling his hair.

"i just wanted attention" he blushes, and i laugh at him, kissing his soft lips.

"join me?" he asks, looking into the bath.

"of course, love." i say, already pulling off my sweat shorts and tank.

"nice shlong" he erupted in laughter at what he said, covering his mouth, tears falling from his eyes in joy.

i can't help but laugh too, getting into the bath and pulling him on top of me, he cuddles into my chest almost immediately.

"i love you, josh" he smiles at me, his big doe eyes making me mentally coo at the smaller boy.

"i love you too, little love."
