Mia's POV

Weaving myself through shops and shops, Leia and I - along with Killian - finally decided to stop at a café. We have been at it, shopping from morning to afternoon till our banknotes decided it had enough. I myself had enough. My feet couldn't stand upright any longer without passing out.

Leia had messaged me this morning to say it was an emergency. Little did I know, it was nothing like an emergency. More like a problem, she could have handled herself. But being the best friend I am, I was forced to follow her along to our little shopping spree and having to whine every second to stop, since my feet couldn't handle it anymore.

And here we are, still in front of the café. This girl has more stamina than the times Killian and I fuck. And that is saying something.

"Are you going to tell me why you forced me to come along?" I asked, my heart pounding in my chest. And I am not being dramatic. Imagine having to follow your best friend shop in the morning till the afternoon, and not tell you a single thing to why you bothered tagging along.

She chuckles at my appearance, biting at a brownie she ordered not so long ago. "Okay, fine. Aaron decided to take me out for dinner tonight."

I cocked my eyebrow, waiting for more explanation.

"What?"

"You have a whole wardrobe of clothes at home!" I exclaimed, in disbelief. "And ew. Aaron thinking about others than himself is quite shocking." .

"Hush," she says, dismissing my joke. "He just randomly said it while he was simply inside of me." I scrunched my face in disgust. "It's not like your innocent, M," she points out, her head cocking towards Killian behind me. "I bet he has a lot to say about your innocence," she teased, earning her a slap on the arm from me.

I swivel my head around to find Killian looking in every direction for any sign of problems. He looked handsome as always with his black suit and pushed back hair. "Are you going to join us, or what?" His attention turned to me and smiled.

He took a seat next to me, but it didn't stop his head continuing to look in every direction for any troubles. I took his hand between mine under the table and stroked the back of it. "Relax," I assured him.

"Not as easy as you make it sound, love," he replied, squeezing my hand back.

"Aren't you two just the cutest," Leia comments, though her face says a different story. "You two make me gag with all your cuteness. Where's Aaron when you need him the most?"

Chuckling, I lean my head on Killian's shoulder. "With all this cuteness, is a lot more fucking," I included with a huge grin. A laugh vibrated from Killian's body, which made my grin grow. "See."

"Don't listen to her," Killian said to Leia, still laughing to himself.

"Hmm."

A vibration came from Leia's phone. A smile formed of her lips as she read whatever message popped in her phone. "I have to go. I have business somewhere else."

"Does your business include an Aaron and a bed?"

"Yes and yes." She pressed her lips on my cheek before heading off.
