The start of it all

[ Xiao's POV ]

A loud yell echoed through the whole house.
"HEY AETHER !!! SOMEONE PUKED IN THE KITCHEN !!!" It was the warmhearted person who loved P.E, Amber. Aether's face was in shock, but it quickly changed into a worried and vulnerable emotion. "W-what !? Wait, let me go check-" The worried blonde said in a hurry, he rushed to the kitchen. I was greeted with a weird start, how interesting. I went up the snowstorm white stairs and saw familiar faces, the annoying but funny person, a broke person, the person who helps the broke person, and the leader of the student council, Keqing. Hu tao shot up and ran to me, "Woweee ! I actually didn't expect you to come, hehe." I just growled in response. "Geez, this fate is worse than death.." Hu tao groaned, she sighed at my response. A kindhearted girl came up to me, her sky blue hair, exotic purple eyes, and cloud necklace was no other than Ganyu. "Oh, hello Xiao.." she looked at me, it was awkward. What am I saying, it's always awkward when it's things between me and Ganyu. She was always so insecure about her horns, like it made her any less better, when it didn't. I just waved at her, silence went on for quite a while now, even though there was so many things going on in the background. I cross my arms as Hu tao broke that silence, "Wow, it's awkward here ! Aren't you guys like best friends before ?" Ganyu turned her head to face the chocolate haired prankster, "Well, that was true, but times have changed now and we separated paths." I shake my head, "You still have that wise response, even when it was so long ago." Ganyu sighed, like it was a bad thing, but it wasn't. Someone from the kitchen yelled, "HU TAO !!! DID YOU MIX CHOCOLATE, CELERY, GINGER, AND LAKE WATER INTO A DRINK AND TOLD SOMEONE IT WAS OKAY TO DRINK IT!?!?" Hu tao chuckled, "Well, I've gotta go ! Toodles!~" she ran off into the kitchen, Ganyu sighed, "She really has the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor blood in her, doesn't she." I nodded, it was true. She's so optimistic about death but yet she's amazing at story telling, Hu tao could become a writer if she wanted to. Ganyu gave a small smile at me, "Well, if ever need anything, I'm here. Don't forget that." The kind girl walked away to ease the situation that was going on in the kitchen. Those words echoed through my head. The braided boy finally caught up to me, "Whew ! That chef had a lot to talk about, she almost made me taste one of her weirdest creations.. Sime bamboo apple soup ?" I sigh, "I'm not surprised, I've been though that lots." Venti smiled brightly, "Yeah ! It seems like it hehe." An light blue haired boy came tumbling out of the kitchen, he looked like the victim of Hu tao's pranks and mischievous acts. Venti looked at the boy, "Ouch, he seems to be in agonizing pain.." I shrug, "It's nothing in particular." Venti looked back at me, "Woaaah, it's like your immune to anything bad ! Even though you're really not-" I just stood there, looking at the boy. Ganyu came into the scene with Keqing, trying to help the pain ease. Venti noticed Ganyu, "Hey, isn't that the airhead Ganyu ?" I nod, "Yeah, but she isn't as air headed as you." The braided male was in shock, "Hey- but at least I'm not mean like you, ehe." I could sense that Venti was in high hopes for me, but why ? Hu tao came back, but to go and talk to Venti. "Hey Venti !! Come with me for a minute !" The boy didn't think of it much so he went with her. I could see them chuckling and talking about something. I knew something was going to happen, and it wasn't good. Hu tao came back with Venti, both of them smiling with mischief. But for Venti, I can sense that he was kinda nervous about this. "Why don't we egg Ningguang's house ? Hehe.. it would be hilarious !!" Hu tao exclaimed with joy. "No, that's a-" I was cut off by a ginger haired male, "Awesome idea, Hu tao !! Let's do it !" I stare at Childe, they're not serious, right ? Venti nodded, even though he was slightly hesitant. "But Ningguang is really rich, she can-" I was interrupted by Hu tao. "Who cares ? If egging is not the right idea, then just teepee her house !!" Keqing overheard the conversation and said while looking at Chongyun sternly, "Are you serious ? You don't know how much trouble all of us can get, especially Aether and Lumine." I couldn't help but agree, but at the same time that would be funny. Childe got slightly annoyed and replied, "C'mon, let's just go !" I just look at them, disappointed. I couldn't believe it, but it's seriously gonna happen, is it? Keqing decided to put matters into her own hands, "Before that, why don't we all watch a movie or play a game ?" I knew what she was trying to do so I tagged along. Hu tao looked at the purple haired girl, "Hmm, sure ! But what game ?" All of us thought for a moment, until Zhongli replied with, "How about a game of truth or dare? And if you don't do the dare you jump in the pool in the backyard." I looked at the calm man with yellow eyes that look like yellow leaves falling. "I- there's no way I'm doing tha-" Venti interrupted me, AGAIN. "He'll do it, hehe." I got annoyed at all the interruptions, geez, just wait for your turn to talk. I cross my arms and sigh,

"Alright then. Let's play truth or dare."
