Mom used to tell me a story
Bout' an angel sent from heaven
A pair of wings to protect me
A savior who'll break my fall
When the rains pour
The angry winds blow
The thunder frightens me
The ticking of the clock
The creaking of the door
Makes me feel lonely
Whenever I'm down and all alone
I know there's an angel beside me
One day, felt me angel had left me
That day there's no joy at all
I got tired of believing something I can't see
There's no one to protect me or break my fall
When I'm feeling down
When I am confused
When I'm about to fall
Afraid to take the risk
and afraid to be hurt
There's no one for me to call
I can't seem to find my angel's hand
It's just a tale after all
Once again I was alone and left in the cold
I thought, "that's about it, it's my end"
Yet someone offered his hand to hold
It's my angel disguised as my friends
When I am afraid
I know that's someone's there
An angel that I can see
When afraid to take the risk
My friends are all here
them and my family
When it seems like I'm losing hope
I know that there are angels behind me
When I'm feeling down
When I am confused
I know I have my guardian angel
There's someone I can call
Someone I can hold
Someone to break my fall
I found the angels around me
They were right beside me all along
