A Curse of Heels (HIDING SERIES 02)

Chapter 7

I wanted to congratulate myself for being able to go back inside my unit triumphantly. Upton even offered to guide me home but I refused. I appreciate all his efforts to me for today. I loathe him at first for some reasons but eventually, he melted the ice inside me and just accept the fact that he can be a good accompany for me.

I'm now sober after drinking countless of glass a while ago. Nagluto pa kase si Upton ng lugaw kanina para raw mahimasmasan kaming dalawa. Nawala naman ang pagkalasing ko dahil na rin sa naging kwentuhan namin kanina. He didn't mentioned further information about my daughter because what he knows is also limited.

Hindi lang sa sarili ako naaawa kundi pati na rin sa kanya. Ngayon pa lang ay nasasaktan na ako dahil wala akong kasalam-alam sa anak ko. Tanging pangalan lang nito pero kahit na gano'n ay masaya pa rin ako. Kahit na kapamilya niya rin ang kinaroroonan niya ngayon ay hindi pa rin ako kampante. Especially that she is on the wrong side of the family. How I prayed that they didn't brain wash her about me.

Ano na lang kaya ang magiging reaksyon nito kapag nakita ako at ni Upton?

Based on her age, she's now able to understand things but she's still a child so I'm hoping that she has soft spot for her own mom. 

Upton made sure that we will get my daughter back again. He's now doing his part and he promised to me that I'll be facing my own child tomorrow morning. The excitement visits me again that made me  wear a smile on my face as I lay over my bed.

I murmured my prayers for a while until I finally fell asleep...

Saktong alas-syete ay nagising na rin ako. Bumangon agad ako sa higaan at nag unat-unat. Matapos kong iligpit ang higaan ay dumiretso na ako sa banyo para maligo. I keep on humming different songs as I entered inside and did my usual routines.

Because of so much joy, I finished taking bath earlier as I expected. Totally kase ay inaabot ako ng mahigit isang oras pero ngayon na magkikita na kami ng anak ko ay hindi na ako makapaghintay. I need to be in our meeting place as early as I could. I don't want my daughter to wait me for so long.

I opened my wardrobe and choose to wear a simple white floral dress that is above the knee. I can't hide my smile while fixing myself. Daig ko pa ang first time makipag-date sa boyfriend. But the difference is, I'm having a date with my daughter for the first time! Mas lalo pa akong nakaramdam ng galak nang maalala ang sinabi ni Upton kagabi na kamukha ko raw ito.

To be honest ay hindi ko rin alam kung paano siya nakagawa ng paraan para magkita kami ng anak ko. But I trust him though...I know he will not disappoint me.

After blowing my hair dry, I brushed my long blonde curly hair as I ponytailed it in a half style. I didn't take much effort on putting make-up on and just a simple press powder and a peach lip stick. After staring at my own reflection on the mirror and evaluating my looks, I flashed again my signature smile and picked my sling bag over my side table before heading outside.

"Kanina ka pa ba diyan?" Nang makalabas kase ako sa unit ko ay sumalubong sa 'kin si Upton na nakasandal sa pintuan niya at nakapamulsang nakatingin sa 'kin na parang kanina pa ako inaabangang lumabas.

He sexily smiled at me before walking towards my direction. His eyes sparkled upon scrutinizing my looks. I felt my cheeks burned because of it. I also look at him from head to toe and silently admired his fashion sense. He's into a simple outfit right now because he's wearing a cotton white hoodie shirt partnered with his casual shorts and a Nike rubber shoes. My eyes caught his veiny hands again which is literally my favorite part of him. There's a silver ring on his middle finger but I didn't get much attention to it when he called my name.
