"De Lago? As in giant fish? Wow real original on that name." I remarked as I read the note telling where the key to the cathedral was, "Time to get going Leon." I called out behind me as he followed albeit reluctantly, "Do you always have to call out the shots?" He'd asked as we walked making me roll my eyes, "Yes, otherwise we'd never get anything done. Both working and at home.." I muttered the last part, and he shut up but a look of annoyance remained on his face. 'Well it's true. In more ways than one.'

Venturing out, they alerted some villagers but quickly disposed of them, continuing onwards toward the lake where the key lay across the large pool of water. "On my count, three tw-" Loen shouted interrupting me, "One!" He ran out disposing of all the villagers in his way, and I followed my anger rising once again. "Follow me, and don't ever do that again." I growled out as we exited the village, heading toward the docks.

Both of them walked through the tunnel like valley, but soon found themselves running for their lives again, when some villagers pushed down another boulder to crush them. "Oh fuck!" She yelled as they ran, avoiding the boulder successfully they made it to the dock where they found a small fishing boat. Before they headed in, they witnessed the second officer's body being dumped into the water, eaten by a large infected animal shortly after.

"Okay. Now that we know what "De Lago" is, we have to proceed with extra caution." She stated unable to hide the shakiness in her voice, he nodded a sympathetic look in his eyesand climbed into the boat with her. "Shit, look out!" She yelled as the large shark whale sped by, the anchor of their boat getting trapped on its tail fin. "Leon!" She yelled when she was thrown off, and left in the water swimming as fast as she could back to the boat. "*cough*, keep attacking it!" She told him after climbing back on, soon after the infected animal sank and Leon kept driving the boat across.

Shack [Reader]

I walked in a shack we found by the dock with Leon, when he suddenly collapsed after coughing up some blood. "Leon!?" I bent down to inspect him and found a syringe like scar on his neck, "They couldn't inject it in me so they...injected him..?" I muttered as he woke up and screamed a bit, "Leon? It's okay, I'm here. It's me, it's me." I cupped his face with my hands, and he sighed, "Sorry. I guess I must have lost consciousness. We should keep going though, it is a mission after all." He brushed me off, walking back to the boat, and pulled me in driving off across the lake.

"Damn.." I mumbled as we fought through this elaborate fort jungle gym like area. "Finally. Let's go honey." I joked as we slashed and shot our way through a horde of infected villagers, "What the hell is an "El Gigante"?" I wondered as we nabbed an emblem that fit the indentation on the church door. "Okay. We're headed back to the church now." I informed Hunigan for Leon as we walked through a gate, which quickly closed behind us and these villagers pulled out a giant mutant which killed them soon after.

"That's El Gigante? Wow kinda expected more." I sarcastically remarked as I dodged several of it's slow but powerful punches. "It's slow and concentrated power into its punches, dodge and shoot! I'm gonna use my special sr!" After that, I put my hands together and formed a sniper rifle, shooting at the infected parasite sticking out from the giant's back. "Finally. That thing was just...ughhhh.." I complained afterward, ti which Leon chuckled a little. "Come on, dork." He teased and we headed back to the church opening the door with ease.

'This room is so...ornate and extra. Why do the nice places also have to be in hostile territory?' My thoughts wandered as we walked, the stone of the walls seemingly becoming endless. "Got it." I chirped as the gates blocking a door opened, and we walked in the room, Ashley running away in fear. "No, stay away!!" She yelled at us, changing my hands back from the knife like state they were in, I slowly approached her, "Hey, hey. It's okay, both of us are under the President's orders to save you."

She shot up in relief and agreed to come with us, staying close to Leon as he called Hunigan. 'Don't get too close. He is my husband after all.' I thought as the leader of the cult Osmund Saddler approached us, "We gave both of you the same gift, and tried to give it to her too but she somehow rejected it." He told us, as his goons approached us, I grabbed Ashley and jumped out the window Leon following suit. Once we landed on the ground she asked me frantically, "What's gonna happen to us?" I gently reassured her, "Nothing because there has to be a way to get those things out of you. And I promise you we will find it."

Church Outskirts [Narrator]

The three rushed through the large area, making it to the other side and towards an underground path. They gathered some ammo they found down there, and resurfaced in the village, where the fight for the cure would begin.

Village [Reader]

"Hya!!" I spat as my limbs morphed between being normal and weapons slashed through each villager that charged at us, "You two alright?" I asked as we reached a safe enough spot to rest for a moment. "Yeah. I think so." Ashley said as Leon merely nodded, "Good. Let's keep going then." I got up and they followed me up a ladder, staying close behind when we encountered more hostiles. "Climb up!" I encouraged when I morphed most of my body into a ladder, they climbed up and I hoisted myself up after guarding Ashley when Hunigan called Leon.

"Oh shit..." I muttered and shoved them all into a nearby shack, "Y/n!" I heard Luis's voice and caught a board handing it to Leon, "I didn't know the president also equipped his daughter with ballistics." Ashley huffed and responded like a brat, "I don't see how my figure affects my position. Now who are you?" Interrupting them I say, "Ashley, Luis. Luis, Ashley. Now that's over with, help me out would you boys?" My left arm morphed to a gun while my right morphed to a scythe, "Showtime." I stated and gunned down several of the hostiles, slashing through the ones that came too close.

"Leon now!" I shouted and he blew up the small gas filled tank I threw earlier blowing up even more hostiles. "Grrgh...this is getting annoying..." I growled as my weaponized arms became larger and deadlier. I fought on for as long as I could until the horde finally dispersed, allowing me to stop.

"Finally. We are going to keep moving, you do whatever you need to do Luis." I told him as he left and followed Leon who had jumped out the window. "More El Gigante? Geez Saddler has too much time on his hands. We shouldn't waste anymore time." I said after reading a note, "Lead the way Leon. I'll cover the back." He nodded and we kept running until another El Gigante. "Ashley get behind me!" I'd shouted and shot at the mutant's weak point while Leon handled a full frontal assault on it.

"Okay. Here Ashley." I handed her a medicinal vial I had and we were on our way again.

Path [Narrator]

They steadily made their way through the path, the silence mocking them as they went. "...." The h/c woman was oddly silent as they walked, but neither of her two companions noticed. "Y/n now!" Leon had shouted snapping her out of her trance and into action, she went into a full on shooting frenzy with her arm guns. "Keep going you two!" She'd shouted and followed behind them, "Leon....I'm sorry." She muttered as she followed behind them, and ripped though the chainsaw wielding villagers.

"..Brat..." Y/n muttered as Ashley called Leon a pervert when he raised up a ladder for her, 'I can see why you were so easy to kidnap...we shouldn't have to do this yet here we are.' She continued to follow them and act as their living weapon, until they came upon an eerily silent area. "Stay on guard." She warned them while guarding from the back

The three of them wouldn't be able to comprehend what was going to happen next or how hard it was going to be to escape this time.
