"Boys? A little help here?" My call for help reached them as they saw me fending off infected rats which somehow got aboard the submarine, using my detachable sharpened fingers as ammo to stab the little shits as they scattered following their massacre of our submarine's crew, "Eat this, you little assholes!!" We escaped to higher ground as the submarine exploded and we swam to shore, taking residence in an apartment Jason found until Shenmei opened fire on us after we went shopping, all of us hitting the ground until she stopped and Leon successfully disarmed her. Jason being killed in the crossfire as Shenmei broke free from Leon's grasp and fled the small complex, both of us giving chase as she shot at us with my projectile finger knives missing each shot, following her into a building where she calmly walked through the large courtyard and to a bedroom, "Maybe we should just leave her be, Leon."

He disregarded my opinion and followed inside carefully as Shenmei met with someone who was watching over her brother, "Start talking!" Leon commanded as Shenmei finally spoke after Leon lowered his gun, "My brother is Jun See, he's lying here because of the US government! They left him to die after the Mad Dogs tried to rescue his team, I saw him turn into a monster that day when everyone else was too scared to approach his body bag." She continued as she remembered what Wilson had done that day, "Wilson turned him into that because of him, if they hadn't even sent them on that mission he'd still be alive!" She mentioned how Wilson was using Penamstan as a bio-weapons testing playground and how her brother was caught in the crossfire, Wilson still not being caught despite the fact he resorted to illegal means to finish the fighting, telling us about how Wilson was supplying inhibitors to the MM members after the war.

Blackmailing them into silence for without those inhibitors they would turn just like Jun See, who selflessly gave up his inhibitors for the Mad Dogs who had been infected in a skirmish prior to their pickup coming, giving up his life and turning just so the Mad Dog members would have some semblance of hope. "He gave up his chance to live for them but they all committed suicide because of the way Wilson used them. Claire's been investigating them, and she just texted me saying the last remaining member of the unit suicided." Shenmei told them how Wilson manipulated them into making him Secretary of Defense, and how she smuggled Jun See out with connections because of the man's greed, of which made Jason cause the infection at the White House a few days earlier.

"You need to let him go, Shenmei. Jason...I have a feeling he won't stay still anymore. His mental state...I saw his dreams and he's slipping from his sanity because of the inhibitors, he wants to scare the world into fearing him and bio-weapons." Shenmei refused to listen to me as Jason who was still alive despite being shot three times in the chest, used explosives to destroy the mansion and kill Jun See along with his grandfather as Shenmei and us (Leon + me), were forced to watch the house go down in ashes. "....That fucker....." Pulling out my phone as quickly as possible from my pocket, I sent a text to Claire and warned her against provoking Wilson further, because if he caught on to what she knew then he'd make her disappear and neither Leon or I could have that. "Claire are you there?! Claire!" My shouting into the phone worried both of the agents next to me as I ended the call when Claire sent a text in mid-sentence, "Wilson's got her."

"Damnit!!" She shouted as Jason's words about how to make fear resonated in Leon's head which made him snap at Shenmei who wanted to blow the whistle, "If you do that, you're going to have one large add target on you, Shenmei. Jason doesn't give a shit about justice...he wants everyone to know the terror he felt and the fear it caused him to feel." Leon reciprocated her words, "He wants everything to burn after he's made everyone feel that fear, where is he Shenmei?" Meanwhile the next morning Claire woke up in Wilson's secret lab, and told her his reasons for his actions while threatening her to not make peace because war was the future, offering to give her what she needed if she left him alone but she refused after stating his true nature. "Whatever you want to do is not the way, you're just a greedy self-centered assholic pig."

Wilson stated his desire for a black military market with his inhibitors in Penamstan and Europe as Claire called him a nut job, headbutting him as he grabbed her by the chin and threatened to infect her until Jason showed himself and insulted him, his very presence alarming because of his deteriorating mental state that Claire was warned about by Y/n. The twisted agenda she worked out from the messages sent being even worse than Wilson's because Jason's, would plunge the world into a constant state of fear like how the cold war was with the threat of nuclear apocalypse, but switching nuclear weapons out for bio-weapons and bio-engineered soldiers which could do as they pleased, even if it was destructive for the rest of the world and its people.

Leon and Shenmei ran with Y/n to get to the lab Claire was at with Wilson congratulating Jason and stating his dead status would help him more, with the said man saying Wilson killed him and slamming him against a test tube as Wilson threatened him with the inhibitors again, Jason beginning to turn as he let himself go while infecting Wilson through a savage bite to the neck. "Jason!! Hands in the air, now!!" Y/n shouted as Claire called her name and Leon's when the trio arrived as everything filled up with sterilizing acid, Wilson taking an inhibitor and hobbling off as Leon confronted Jason with Shenmei who ended up going to save Claire, Y/n telling Jason to stand down because while his way was ineffective as was Shenmei's idea to blow the whistle, only one would be truly catastrophic. "Get her out of here, Shenmei!!"

She called as Jason stabbed Y/n through the chest with her healing factor keeping her alive as he threw her at Leon, grabbing her again and snapping her neck which he thought killed her until being attacked by her sharpened arm, e/c eyes turning a blood curdling red as she attacked him fiercely while Shenmei escaped with Claire. "Agghh!!" She landed on Leon as Jason threw her back again with Leon catching her and using her abilities to swing higher, catching up to Jason despite her immense blood loss which didn't seem to slow her down at all, "Go, Leon!!" She shouted as she landed on some controls and sent the platform Jason was on down toward the acid, the mutated monster grabbing a crane hook line and climbing higher until throwing a platform at Leon, glancing up at Y/n and aiming to kill her so she'd stop interfering until a platform hit the box shaped control room.

Knocking her back and unconscious as Leon kept trying to stop Jason who was strangling him above the acid, throwing him down onto the platform as he limped away with his torn off arm until Y/n's body rolled out from the box and landed near him, almost falling into the acid until Leon grabbed her by the arm and hoisted her up. "Leon..?" She asked as he helped her grab the cable he was holding and walked with her to see Jason's melting form, "I have you as my witness. You will carry my fear, Leon because so long as there is a witness, the fear lives on." Leon smirked as Y/n stabbed the monster through the heart with her eyes returning to their regular e/c, "Fat chance of that, asshole."

A hiss left her as she was helped up by Leon who was genuinely worried about her like usual which confused Patrick when he walked up, "Ay, go fuck off already will ya Patrick?" They went to meet Claire who was with Shenmei, both women scared when they saw how injured Y/n was though she waved them off while handing the chip to them, "Do what you gotta do. I'm going home...what about you, partner?" She elbowed Leon who showed her a paper the doctor gave him, "I'm your legally mandated caretaker until you heal up enough to go on missions again." Y/n began running after Claire and Shenmei as Leon caught her and dragged her back with him, his fiesty and powerful ex-wife cowering in fear at having to stay put in a room for eight months, "It's not fair!!!!" Her wail echoed as Leon told her, "Stop being a baby, N/n. It's only eight months and it'll probably be six if you manage to stay still long enough for your healing to work its magic."
