- On the boat -

[Hikari's POV]

Here we are, finally we catched up with the boat. I was panting there and Gon seemed to be alright. I looked around and it looked like we got the other applicants' attentions. They were looking at us, especially the boy with blonde hair and he seemed in the same age as me and the man with blacksuit and a brief case, he seemed old. I walked around to find a place for me to sit. I sat on the edge of the ship to feel the breeze of the air and I really enjoyed it. I saw the sky all the time because I was scared to see the waves which moving uncontrollably and the sky seemed so dark. I quickly went away from where i am as the ship shook. Everyone was thrown to back and front of the ship except me, Gon, the blonde, and the old man. Then the captain came to us and asked us to follow him. We followed him to a room and he asked "What's your name? And why do you want to join the hunter exam?"

"I'm Kurapika, sorry but i can't say the reason i'm joining the exam." said the blonde.

"I'm Leorio and i also can't say the reason to a random person." The old man said.

Then Gon started to speak "I'm Gon, Gon Freecs. I come here to find my father and become a hunter just like him."

"Hey, why do you tell your name and your reason! We don't even know him yet." said the blonde.

"What if this is the part of the exam?" Gon asked.

"Yes, he's right. This is the part of the exam too." The captain said.

"My name is Kurapika and i joined the exam for revenge." The blonde said.

"I'm Leorio and i joined the exam because i love money" the old looking man said.

"So what's your name lady? And why do you want to join the hunter exam?" asked the captain.

"Uhh.. ano.. i'm Hikari, Hikari Amai. I joined the hunter exam because..." i don't know what to say since i knew they won't believe me easily. 

"I want to find my parents too." I tried to hide the truth and told the captain after Gon and the others had gone. The captain gave me a smile. 'I guess he understood but the blonde, he looked at me in a suspicious way' i tried to smile back instead.

Finally, we arrived at Dolle Harbour and the captain suggested us to head for the chedar tree on the top of the hill. 

"Which way should we chose?" Kurapika asked.

"The captain said we should go that way." Gon answered.

"Look, i think this way is faster since there is a bus!" Leorio said.

"I'll follow Gon since the captain had said so. How about you Hikari?" Kurapika asked.

"I'll..." i said but was stopped because i saw a girl with gold hair and white dress hiding behind the tree.
