#10 - The Last Phase

The next day ~ 4th day

[Hikari's POV]

It's already afternoon and we are walking in the forest, I just followed Killua since it's the 4th day of this phase, which as I remember, Killua will take those brothers' tags and throw the two unnecessary tags. He will throw the tags while switching the direction so Hanzo will take the wrong tag. I have to take it later before Killua throws it away!

We walked a little bit and we met those brothers.

'I have to take it before Killua throws the tags!'

I kept repeating those words in my mind while they're fighting.

'Now!'

Mini time skipped~

"What are you doing?!" Killua asked me.

"I was trying to take my target's tag, because you threw the two of them!"

"So, you ran and tripped because of that? Hahahaaha"

"S-shut up! Now, I have to search for it again!"

"Let me treat your knees first."

"You don't need to, I'll search my tag first before that ninja throw it away." ( =3=) I start walking to where Hanzo was.

"Well, whatever, it's here anyway."

"Eh?!" I turned my head and saw that Killua showed the two tags, #199 and #198.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?!" I tried to take it from him but he hid it.

"You didn't ask and I won't give it to you before we treat your knees."

"Fine! Fine!"

Times went by and we met Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, and the other participants.

Time skipped ~

The participants went to the building by airship and Netero chairman asked each of us for an interview.

"Who do you want to fight the most? And who do you least want to fight with?."

"I don't want to fight anyone but if I have to fight, I don't want to fight with #44, #99, #403, #404, and #405."

[3rd person POV]

Now they've arrived at the building for the final phase of hunter exam.

'I wonder where I will be at the board.' Hikari thought

"This is the final phase of the hunter exam. I've created the system according to your answer in the last interview." After announcing that, Netero opened the board system and began to explain the system. The board displaying the participants with Hikari on the last duel.

"There will be only one person who will fail this exam. You will be instantly disqualified if you kill the other participant."

Then the final phase start with Gon and Hanzou, continued with Kurapika and Hisoka, and so on. It reveals that Gittarackur is Killua's older brother, Illumi Zoldyck and Killua began to behave strangely since then, which ended up Killua killed one of the participants. Hikari, who already knows tried to stop him but she suddenly felt dizzy and passed out.

The last phase ended up and Killua was disqualified for killing one of the participants and the other participants automatically passed the exam, including Hikari. Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio decided to go to Kukuroo mountain to get Killua back. Since Gon will go to Heaven Arena to meet Hisoka after getting Killua, Hikari promised him to meet them at the Heaven Arena and she took her own way.
