The morning was calm and serene. There were flowers flowing along the wind with the small bees buzzing around them. A scene one would relish.
Aayrah had just come from the shower with her damp hair and wet body, droplets falling on her shoulder and back. She had worn a kurti, maroon in color with intricate design of the same color and same colored cigarette pants down.
After drying her wet hair, she went down to prepare breakfast for everyone that took a good amount of time.
Now keeping the cup of green tea that her husband prefers to drink as soon as he wakes up, she hopped up her way to their bedroom.
Reaching her room, she saw her husband sleeping soundlessly, hugging the pillow which she had arranged in place of her. It was hard, she had to accept.
She kept the tray down and picked up the cup of tea and went to the balcony, which gives the view of the whole mansion as Izaan's room is at the corner. It was beautiful.
She had finished half of her tea, when a hard body was pressed against her back and she felt someone wrapping his arms around her waist. Nuzzling his morning face in her wet hair, Izaan sighed in content.
"Good morning." She whispered, biting down her bottom lip.
"Of course it's a good one." She heard him mumble.
"I have to go to the office today." He continued, informing him as a good husband.
"I know. I heard you talking to Dad." She mumbled as she turned towards him.
Taking the cup from her hand, he kept it aside and covered her hands with his own as she had fisted his shirt as always.
"I should probably get ready then." He informed and she half heartedly nodded.
The only thing she was thinking was, Stop behaving like this Aayrah! He had spent almost a week with you staying at home and this is how you behave in return? Now, behave like a good wife and listen to him.
"Okay." This time she gave him a bright smile which he gladly returned.

It was around 8 in the evening, an hour before the dinner time. The people of this house were busy doing something or the other. Well, most likely it was Dadi, Manyata and Aayrah. Her mother in-law was taking a nap due to her headache and Aayrah was now getting pampered by Dadi as she was already done with the preparations of dinner.
"Dadi, can I ask something?" Aayrah questioned all of a sudden.
"Of course." Dadi nodded encouraging her.
"Why didn't you prefer Reva for Izaan? I mean she's so good-"
"To be honest, it wasn't like I didn't like that girl. No doubt she was one amazing woman. I could see that. But, she wasn't the one for him. And I have always wanted you for Izaan. I always had this thought of making you my grand daughter in-law, no one else. It was the other family member's idiotic brains that made their alliance." Dadi grumbled.
