I got up and got dressed - white skinny jeans, a turquoise tank top and white sandals. And of course, jewelry. I wore my hair down and straight.

I walked out of my room to see my mom scrambling around the room, trying to find her keys, purse and who knows what else.

"Mom?" I said.

She looked up. "Oh, thank God." She sighed. "Nathan is waiting in the driveway. You better hurry or he's gonna leave without you." She warned.

I hurried anxiously. "Oh - okay... bye, see you tonight after practice." I leaned in and hugged her.

"And your dad is taking you, right?" She asked once again.

My mind reminisced of the dream, and of Josh.. and how he was really the one taking me to practice.
"Yeah." I lied again. "Bye mom!"

I scuffled out the door and to Nathan's truck. I jumped in and as I was buckling, Nathan said, "What's wrong with you? You never run late!"

"I- I was just having a dream, and I overslept I guess. I didn't hear my alarm go off." I shrugged it off.

"What kind of dream could've made you sleep through your blasting alarm??" He asked curiously. I am known to turn my alarm up super loud.

"Nothing." I lied.. "It was nothing really."

I was relieved once Nathan dropped the subject. There was no way I was telling him about my intense dream about Josh.

School was long, as usual. I couldn't concentrate on my school work all day.

There was only one thing on my mind and that was Josh.

When the final bell rang, I felt a small smile form on my face. School was over, which meant it was time to see him.

I don't know what I am thinking... he will never go for a girl like me. I am just 16. And not to mention, I am his boss's daughter.

The car ride to my dad's work was nothing but sweaty palms and flashbacks of my dream. It wasn't going to happen, it can't.

But in the end, I either really really want it to, or I don't. And I can't decide what I am feeling.

Nathan pulled me up to the door's and I hopped out, grabbing my tennis bag. "Thanks again for dropping me off."

"Okay." He said. "Oh, mom said to tell dad to grab you something to eat after practice... she has a doctors appointment and won't be home to fix anything."

My nerves tensed. "O-okay." I said.

I closed the door and Nathan drove off. I turned around to face the doors. Here goes nothing.
