If you asked me, these are the tools that I would start out with if you're a beginner, but this is only my opinion.
A broom:
used for spiritual cleaning of a space before a ritual or a spell can also be displayed to ward of negativity
A cauldron:
used to hold water, burn sigils or incense in, or to make potions
Matar and a Pestle:
used to crush herbs and ingredients for spell work
Jars/Containers:
used to hold ingredients like incense, herbs, forged items, and Spell work
Crystals/Stones:
used in rituals and spells for energy
Grimoire/Book of Shadows:
Magical journalist to keep spells, rituals, divination readings, and secrets
Divination tools (tarot cards, pendulum, etc;)
Used to help make decisions, tact to spirits/deities, see if a spell will work
