There is a lot lies and just random things people make up about witches and the craft and some of them are actually pretty convincing.

The thing that I see a lot of is people saying things like "If butterflies land on you out of no where you're born a witch" and " if you like silver more than gold you're born a witch." The truth is that you can't be born a witch. Witches are human beings, not another species. Even if you're pagan.
Lots of people also say that witches worship Satan and if they believe in witchcraft then Satan got to them, but that's not true. Even if they believe in Satan, they probably don't worship him.
