Tw//strong language, minor homophobia
Jisung quickly got off of the younger and sat on the edge of the bed, Chenle sitting up straight.
"M-mom? It's not what it looks like I swear!" Chenle frantically shook his head.
"What do you mean it's not what it looks like?! I clearly saw you two with my own eyes," Chenle's mother scolded.
"What's going on in here?" Chenle's father came into the room, eyes immediately on Jisung.
"It was nothing! We were just watching a movie," Chenle claimed, although his mother didn't buy it.
"Sure you were watching a movie. I caught these two in the act!" Chenle's mother pointed at them in disgust.
"Pa, it's really not what it seems," Chenle's eyes started becoming teary.
"Chenle-"
"Is this what you do when we're not home? You bring people over to fuck them like a little slut?!" Chenle's mother yelled.
"Mrs. Zhong! If it's anyone's fault that this is happening, it's mine. Chenle didn't do anything wrong. You can not call him a slut, I won't tolerate that," Jisung stood up, Chenle grabbing his arm to pull him back down but the older didn't budge.
Jisung just couldn't sit there and watch his boyfriend get in huge trouble for something that was his own fault, not Chenle's. Chenle didn't deserve to be yelled at, it was Jisung who started it, it was Jisung who butted himself into Chenle's life from the beginning.
Jisung should be getting scolded and yelled at not him.
"Who are you?" Chenle's father asked with his eyes furrowed.
"My name is Park Jisung, Mr Zhong and with all due respect you guys have no right to be yelling at Chenle right now," Jisung stated in a matter of fact as Chenle begged for him to be quiet.
"Ji, please stop. Go home, I-I'll call you later," Chenle pleaded softly, looking down as he still held onto Jisung arm.
"Are you sure?" Jisung asked and Chenle nodded.
Jisung lifted the young boy's chin up before leaving and wiped his tears with his thumbs.
"Don't cry, baby. I'm just a phone call away, alright?" Jisung said before kissing his cheek and leaving, bowing to both parents respectively.
"Who is he to you?" Chenle's father asked sharply.
"...m-my boyfriend,", Chenle mumbled underneath his breath.
Chenle couldn't believe this was happening right now. Out of all days and moments, it just had to be this one that gets interrupted. Who are they anyway? They're barely home and they barely even acknowledges the things he achieves.
"You're going to break up with him this instant," Chenle's mother scowled, her arms crossed over her chest.
"Why?" Chenle dared to challenge his mother with a question.
"Because he's not good for you. You need to break up with him now," Chenle's mother's voice level rose.
Chenle scoffed, rubbing his tears with the back of his wrists before standing up.
"How would you know?" Chenle continued to challenge her, squinting his eyes.
"Are you talking back to your mother, right now?" Chenle's father spat.
"Because I do know!" Chenle's mother scolded and Chenle only chuckled slightly.
"You guys don't know anything," Chenle started and took a deep breath before continuing on to cut his mother off once again.
"You don't know Jisung, you don't know my friends, you don't know anything. Not even your only son," Chenle retorted.
"Why you littl-"
"Where were you? Why do you suddenly care now? You surely didn't care a few hours ago while you were at work. I bet you didn't even spare me a thought while you're in the office, do you?" Chenle's tears were falling again as he looked both his parents in the eyes, who looked shocked at what their son was rambling.
"All I do is come home and sit here all day, waiting for you to return, waiting all day just so I could spend time with you, but each chance you arrive, I never fail to get the same results and answers everytime. 'Hold on I have a phone call.' 'I can't right now.' 'We have to be at the office soon.' 'It's getting busy.' So then when the heck do you have time, time for me?" Chenle choked, trying to control his sobs.
"And then I met Jisung last school year and he's made me so happy. All the time that I don't get to spend with you, I'm able to spend with him and he treats me so special. He makes me feel things that I don't normally feel, he makes me feel loved, he makes me feel at home. I-I feel so welcomed when I'm with him," Chenle continued.
Chenle was now on his knees, his head hung low as he tears dripped onto the floor.
"Ma,....pa,....I always listen and obey the both of you. I always do as you wish for me to do. But this is something I simply can not do. I can't break up with Jisung, I won't do it. I-I love him too much to do so. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I will not be breaking up with him so please get that out of your head," Chenle cried hard tears.
