Carina's Daughter

Part 1

CARINA'S POV
My alarm went on, 5am shoot. Had to leave to the hospital. Totally forgot about this early Monday shift.

I quickly took a shower got changed and ready to leave.

I went into my daughter's room, she was fast as sleep and gently woke her up.

"Mi amore" I said slowly moving her "I'm being paged. I have to go" I said

Her eyes slowly opened and she looked at me after looking at her watch "mamma it's 5:30 in the morning. I've got an hour more to sleep" she said and stretch

"Yeah, but I forgot my keys at my office I need you to open and close the door" I said smiling as I placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Bambina" I said moving her again since she was falling asleep again

"Yeah?" Said Kiara half asleep

I laughed and said "I need the keys"

She half asleep got up and looked into her hockey bag and took out the keys

She looked at me and said "here you go. Have a nice day"

I kissed her cheek as she followed me to the living room and said "love you! Thanks! Don't be late!"

"Won't be" she said

"Drive slowly! And you text me when you arrive" I said before leaving

"Mom I'm driving to school, not Australia" she said as she yawned

"You text me or no more driving" I said as I got into my car and saw Kiara laughing as she got back in.

KIARA'S POV
I got up again around 6:30. Got showered and had breakfast. Around 7:00 I started getting things ready to leave and saw mom's folder at the dinning room. She had forgotten her paperwork. I had an easy day today. Most of my classmates had vocational test coming up. But my turn was next week, so my class was free after 2pm.

I made my way to school and left mom's paperwork in my car so I'd drop it at the hospital for her at 2. I took out my phone and texted

~Kiara: Australia, here I am.

-Carina: haha love u :)

As I walked to my locker I Kath came over. She had been my best friend ever since we were 4.

"You're not gonna believe the rumour I heard" she told me

"Tell me" I said as I put my books into my locker

"Rumour says Jack is spinning around a girl whose last name is Deluca" said Kath

"Oh come on. Shut it. Not true" I said. Jack was like the most sexy and perfect guy at school he was almost 18 two years older than me. But just a male model.

"Oh my god he is coming this way!" Said Kath thrilled

It was true. Damn. He was coming. He was coming towards me.

"Hey, Kiara" he said

He's male perfume invaded me in seconds

"Hey" I said as I struggled with my books

"Oh let me" he said and grabbed my books and placed them in my locker

"Thanks Jack" I said as my eyes glittered

"It's a pleasure" he said and looked at my mouth "so I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me Friday night" he spit out

"Yes" I just answered without thinking "god sorry" I laughed "sure, what time?" I asked trying to make things better and realised he was cutely smiling

"Pick you up at 9?" He asked

"Can't wait" I said and smiled back as he placed a kiss on my cheek and walked away. I though I'd pass away right there.

CARINA'S POV
Around 1:30 I was having lunch with Andrea and read Kiara's message saying she was coming. I loved when she came here.

"So? Did you go out with that woman last Friday?" Andrea asked me

I laughed and said "no, I didn't. She was quite weird."

"Come on! Hey Teddy! Come here" said Andrea
Teddy came over and sat down "yep?" She asked

"Don't you think carina should go out with someone?" Said Andrea

"Andrea please" I laughed

"Yes!! You definitely have to" said teddy

"Teddy" I said

"You need someone to make you happy Carina. So Friday night. We are going to the bar" said teddy

"Really?" I asked

"Yes. Really" she said

KIARA'S POV
I started driving towards the hospital and once I parked I headed in looking for mom.

I went through the corridors until I reached the attending lounge and saw some of my moms friends sitting there

"Hey!" Waved Callie and Arizona who were sitting down having coffee

"What are you doing here?" Asked Arizona

"Mom left this paperwork at home I'm not sure if she really needed it. But, I brought it on my way home" I said as I gave Arizona the folder

"Ou gosh yes! Thank you! I need them more than your mom but thanks honey" said Arizona

"Sure" I said

"How did school go?" Callie asked

"Boring. But okay I guess" I said laughing

"Carina said you were stressed out about vocational tests" said Callie

I smiled and said "kinda yes, I'm a little lost about it"

"Uh I remember vocationals. They are stressing when you're not sure what to do" said Arizona

"You'll figure it out" said Callie

"Any kinda ideas?" Asked Arizona

"Some, but not certain" I said as I saw someone coming through the door

"Look who is here" said Andrew as he kissed my head "what are you doing here?" He asked

"Brought some forgotten paperwork for mom" I said

"We all need a Kiara I guess" he laughed

I laughed and hugged him in my way out and headed home.

As I got home I lit up the fire and sat down on my laptop to do my homework, then I realised shoot. Jack asked me out. Which meant I should ask mom to go out on Friday night
