Andrea, Alex and Penelope were all sitting at the dinner table when they heard Lydia yelled out "Wonderful news, Elena can be in the Christmas card this year"
"oh, you look very nice," Penelope tells her daughter
"Thank you" Lydia chuckled
"Abuelita I think she meant Elena," Andrea told her, Lydia looked at her granddaughter "what? she didn't do anything"
Alex then stood up and began inspecting Elena's face "What?" Elena whines "Nothing. Just, if you get hit with a hamburger today, it's gonna stick"
"oh, come on, Elena, it looks nice. you look different." Penelope reassures her daughter "what is this? wear-your-grandma-to-work day?" Penelope begins to laugh while Elena looks offended "I'm kidding! you look great. And whatever this is, good luck with it"
"well, what are you gonna do about Scott, the bobo?" Elena asks her mum
"nothing because he doesn't matter. I'm going straight to Dr Berkowitz. Then I ill accomplish my goal, and Scotts burgundy-red Buick Regal, license plate 374 PCE will remain unharmed" Penelope finished
"just a little more rouge" Lydia tells her
Andrea got up, grabbed her bag and stood next to Lydia
"Ay, Mami, no" Penelope told her mother, then she looked in the mirror "damn it, you're right" she grabbed the brush and put it on her cheeks, then she turned to Lydia and began to add some on her "Oh, gracias" Lydia replied before taking the brush and turning to Andrea and adding some to her face "Oh, gracias Abuelita," she said happily
then they all left to leave.

All 3 Alvarez kids joined by Luca, Eve and Izzy, walked into the apartment
"hey" "hi" they all chorused
when Elena walked through the door Lydia gasped "Oh... what happened to your face?" Elena then fully walked through the door "Um, I took the makeup off after the first period, because people were staring at me and all these boys were staring at me, Which is the last thing I want."
Lydia looked at her confused "I don't understand any words you are saying to me." then Alex spoke "it was terrible. Me and Andrea's friends were calling her names like cute and pretty." Luca quickly cut in "not me by the way" Alex continued "I'm the cute one of this family"
"yeah and Andrea is the pretty one of the family," Luca said without skipping a beat then when he realised everyone's eyes on him and a blushing Andrea he realised what he had said, "oh, I said that out loud, didn't I?"
Izzy laughed at her brother "You think Andy's pretty" Izzy sang out "Shutup!" Luca yelled
"Apart from Luca calling Andrea pretty and kinda breaking the promise we made, I'm still the cute one in this family," Alex told everyone and directed the first part to Luca
"yes, you are, papito" She paused and turned to Elena "Elena, I thought you were finally listening to me"
"I did listen to you, Abuelita and I listened to mum, too. I was very professional. I smiled and nodded and was nice to everyone " said Elena and Lydia gave her a thumbs up " it looked very unnatural" Eve told them while Alex nodded in agreement
the kids then decided to all go to Alex's room to hang out while Elena stayed to talk to Lydia and Izzy said that she texted her mum to pick her up
"Okay, can we talk about how Camila is always trying to get you two's attention" Eve points out
"oh yeah, she came up to me today and kept asking "have you seen you're dreamy brother Alex and his dreamy friend Luca" like ew" Andrea stated
"yeah and then when she couldn't get an answer out of her she tried to come to me. I just ignored her" Eve said irritated
"Ohh, that explains why came up to us and said that you two were being chica malas" Alez explained "but then we just looked at her funny and she ran away crying," Luca told the two girls
"Wow, that girl is sensitive"Andrea exclaimed "mhm" they all agreed
after a bit Eve and Luca had to go home so everyone said their goodbyes. when Alex and Andrea went inside Alez pulled his sister aside
"i have a question"
Andrea look at him confused "go on"
"do you like Luca?" Alex got straight to the point
Andrea looked at her brother and laughed "what?"
"Answer the question"
"No i do not like Luca. why are you asking?" Andrea told the boy
"it's just because, well, after what he said earlier and how you were blushing it was gross and i don't think i could live with you guys liking eachother" Alex told his sister in a shy manner
"well i don't so your good" Andrea laughed "anyway imma go to bed now, goodnight braceface"
"goodnight loser" Alex said while he smiled knowing he didn't have to worry about anything going on with his bestfriend and his sister, well atleast for now
