Every Morning

Every Morning
I wake up,
turn the TV on
And fear death

Kids stop playing outside,
they learn to grow up
They are adults before you know it
They are left in the middle of the war

They cry for help
They yell to be found
They pray to be safe
To be back home

But they never arrive
'Cause they are dead
Meanwhile I'm
just watching TV
