Draco didn't understand, he almost didn't believe it. He tried to forget, but the morning's events kept replaying in his mind. He had never noticed her before, she had never once reached out to him, and yet, it was almost a perfect meeting. They stood there staring at each other, memorizing every inch of the other's face, that is, until she said hello. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Hello, I'm Y/N L/N."
"Draco, Draco Malfoy."
"Nice to meet you Draco. I do hope we can be friends!"
"..."
"Please, do forgive me, but I am quite hungry. Perhaps I'll see you around."
"Yes... Perhaps..."
And for the first time in a long time, Draco had smiled. Many meetings came after that one, but this first one is the one that Draco never forgot. _______________________________
