Father help me everyday
To be who you want me to be
Show me how to love like you
Help me my faults to see
I want to remain strong enough
To always live within your will
Even when I make bad choices
You forgive and love me still
At times, though, it may be tough
Help me be willing to forgive
I want your light to shine in me
Everyday that I livemo
Please dear Father take my hand
Guide me through the valley drear
Wrap your arms around me tight
