"Rika-sama! the entrance exam will be starting soon let's go!" I yelled at my captain through the door as she gets ready, she may be the captain of the pink butterflies but she is not so responsible for important stuff
"I'm almost done give me a minute!" she replied and I sighed, she said that 5 minutes ago!
"quick it's gonna start soon, I might have to attend for you," I said to myself and the door opens revealing the captain herself rika Mizuki
"Sorry I took long, took me a while to think on what hat I should wea-" I cut her off by shoving her broom to her chest and quickly exited the base and used my broom to head to the entrance exam with rika behind me
"you need to take things seriously rika, your captain now and not a vice-captain nor normal member," I said and speeding up and my white cape flowing in the wind as rika also speeds up
-at the entrance exam-
I just flew into the arena behind rika's chair and got off my broom and panted since I used my energy for the broom since the silver eagles were beside us nozel looked at me in worry
"you ok y/n?" he asked and I nodded then rika arrives then sits of her chair
"Sorry, I was late! I was busy with some stuff..." rika says making herself comfy on the chair and nozel sighs
"it started 10 minutes ago, you took too long with your clothes cap," I say, and she giggles and I started at her annoyed, she always is late for these because of the men
"you're lucky it the first part," Nozel adds and we look at the children who were flying on their brooms... except one guy, seems like he is having trouble
"he seems to have trouble, I feel bad for him," I said peeking from behind the chair then it was the magical ability exam, the children manage to break the small wall but the kid who can't fly still can't use his magic, I'm starting to think he doesn't have any magic
"he still can't use magic, he might be just a regular human that can't use magic," rika said, I know that she was watching carefully cause there's only an amount of 5 members in the squad including us cause the seniors retired except one tho so yeah
"We don't know yet rika, maybe he is saving energy for the last one? it's quite difficult" I say to her and she nods and we continued watching the guys do their stuff.

it was time for the recruiting but I'm making sure that rika doesn't choose a lot of men cause there are only 3 girls in our squad, but we decided if we recruit candidate #164 and 165 we probably would get good points cause they both defeated good fighters
"candidate #164!" the guy yelled and the candidate walks up, ria started raising her hand and everyone else raised it, not gonna lie that guy is a four-leaf and is really strong, even the golden dawn raised their hand!
"I choose golden dawn" he yells, too bad he was really strong, too bad but it is a great choice tho, then after all of that it was #165's turn
"candidate #165!" the guy yells and then he steps up, for a few seconds rika raised her hand as well as Yami-san, he seemed to be muttering something but I don't know what is
"I choose black bulls!" he yells and I and rika sighed, no one was able to choose us but we still have more options
"candidate #149!" the guy yells and the girl me and rika had our eyes on stepped up, for a few seconds rika raised her hand as well as Dorothy and Rill
"I choose pink butterflies!" she yells and I squealed in excitement, we finally had a girl!
"that's good, no one had picked us for a few minutes" rika muttered so that I can hear and I giggled
"next candidate #137!" the guy yelled once again then another girl stepped up, rika raised her hand, she was the only one that caught the interest in that girl because she knows that her power can be trained better
"I accept!" she yells and I squealed once again happy that we were getting new members
"candidate #134!" the guy yells and a boy steps up, he has gotten both of our interest since his power can be used for very useful things, rika, rill, Yami and jack raised their hand
"I-I choose pink butterflies!" he yells, today is our lucky day of new members! we have 2 new girls and 1 new boy
"your luck that you're getting new members huh?" nozel tells me and I nodded
"they know that the squad of yours has you, a well-trained swordsman to help them" Nozel adds and I chuckle, then blah blah we got 3 more to join, and then it was over so me and rika head down to the back where we're gonna be meeting our new members
"Hello, there everyone! are you the new recruits of the pink butterflies?" rika says with her hands together, we managed to get the recruit's attention and they changed their posture
"now let us introduce ourselves, I'm rika Mizuki the captain of the squad," she says and they looked at me and I nodded
"and I'm y/n Hisashi the vice-captain," I said and the newbies bowed in respect
"I'm Zaki tsuru! my power is venom!" the girl says, interesting, that could be useful if we used that on our weapons
"I-I'm maku Haruki! my power is fire" he stuttered, poor guy must've been forced here or shy
"I'm yumi Nakamura! my power is air!" the girl says, she has the same power as that four-leaf guy that got into the golden dawn
"now that we're done with introductions let's head to your new base!" rika says as our brooms had made their way here
"get on your brooms and follow me" I added then got on my broom and so does everyone else
"follow the vice-captain!" rika says happily, it has been a long day so we could have a celebration
"base is not that far so we should be there in around 10 minutes," I said getting in front of everyone and flew ahead with the others behind me
-at the base-
we arrived at the base and we got off our brooms
"welcome to your new home!" I say pointing at the base and it seems like everyone is surprised except rika who just walked inside
