a/n: I changed my oc Mika's name to Mika Unsworth cause I'm a simp for Dorothy

-y/n p.o.v-

I started to feel myself waking up from my slumber and I wake up to see myself in a room, so it seems like I'm in the medical tower... wait, wheres captain? I'll go look for her...

"y/n, you shouldn't be walking in your state," I hear someone say and I look at the door to see one of the doctors from the tower

"I-I need to find captain, where is she?" I asked and their eyes widened... no... no no no no no! I need to find her! I ran out of the room then ran through the halls to find a doctor outside one of the rooms

"excuse me is this where captain Rika is?" I ask and then nodded the I walked into the room to see captain... her arm... no no no!

"c-captain Rika... No..." I said quietly as tears started to stream down my cheeks as I walked to where Rika was... I should've protected you... I should've or you wouldn't be in this state! I-I'm sorry

"y/n-sama, you're free to leave but the wizard king would like to speak to you when you leave," one of the mages said and I nodded then left the tower just to see the others who were in front of the doors

"y/n-san! your ok," yumi said running to me and giving me a tight hug as the other two rookies joined in

"We thought you were dead!" Zaki said and I giggled then patted her head

"I'm fie but... I can't say the same for captain tho..." I said then their faces darkened and nodded

"I have to go, the wizard king called for me!" I said letting of the hug then ran to the castle

-at the wizard kings office-

I enter the office to see the wizard king and his assistant by the table and so I quickly closed the door and walked up

"Glad you can make it y/n, so you may know what you're here for right?" He said then I nodded

"I know you are the vice-captain, and you working hard to help your squad grow. I looked at the health vitals of your captain and it looked like she had a low chance of waking up," what? captain... this can't be right

"We need to find your squad a new captain like the crimson lion kins cause fuegoleon is also in a coma, so I found one for your squad... and he is your family member," he actually chose brother? big brother is not that bad but he still was rude to me when I was a child

"wizard king, I'm here-" I hear behind me and I turned around to see my older brother enter

"o-onii-sama?" I said and his eyes kept widened, he was wearing the cape of the squad and his casual wear

"y/n, long time no see," he said softening his look and looked at me with a smile, and he changed after I left?

"Kintaro, just in time! I was gonna call you but you here now," Julius said and I looked at the ground in front of me fidgeting my fingers as my brother walked next to me

"as you can see, your sister is the vice-captain but the squad can't operate without a captain so I asked you if you can be captain while Rika is in a coma," Julius explained and we nodded

"yes sir, I can substitute while they are away, I'll work hard," my brother said saluting getting a giggle from the wizard king in front of us

"Alright then, your both free to leave," Julius said and we both saluted then left

"look y/n, I'm sorry for what I did when we were younger... your 25 now and your growing up now," he said as we walk our way out of the castle

"it's fine, your 30 now so I guess you understand..." I reply and he smiles, I guess he has changed

"do you know where fuegoleon is? he said that he would take me o- I mean hang out..." he's gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay for fuegoleon

"I'll keep your secret big brother~ let's go to the base now before everyone gets worried," I said grabbing his hand then got him a broom so we can fly there

-at the base-

"Everyone we're back! I'll introduce our new captain while Rika is away" I said as the members stood in a line waiting for the new captain, my brother comes in then stood beside me

"This is my brother Kantaro! he's 30 years old and he's gonna be our new captain starting today," I said then everyone nodded

"I'm Mika Unsworth! nice to meet you, new captain," Mika says doing a peace sign while smiling

"unsworth? So your Dorothy-sans sister? " he asked and Mika nodded

"I'm Dorothy's sister! I have nightmare magic while she has dream magic but we are close like siblings! " Mika says and and her grumpier started to float beside her

"nightmare magic: nightmar-" I cut her off by closing her mouth with my magic to stop her from using her magic

"I'll show you to your room, nii-sama, " I said then walked away with my brother trailing behind me

-the next day-

It was morning and everyone was awake,  we all did some stuff like Mika went to visit her sister and the others were staying at the base to practice to just chill in there room until someone knocked on the door

"I'll get it," my brother says then opens the door

"who are you?" I hear a familiar voice say as brother let them in

"nozel-sama! What do you need? " I say then pulled him to the couch

"who is this man? " he questioned as he sat next to me and my brother sits Infront of us

"this is our new captain, my older brother kantaro," I reply and my brother just glared at him. Probably has some big brother senses

"nozel Silva, nice to meet you" Nozel said and my brother nodded

"are you dating my sister? If you are take care of her or else you have consequences " my face flushed dark red as I covered my face to hide it

"nii-sama, we aren't dating! Don't just to conclusions since we just reunited yesterday," I said and my brother gives me a hum

"we aren't dating which is correct... But not yet... " nozel whispered the last part so we can't hear it but it was a bit visible to me

"onii-sama, don't scare him ok? I'll be in my lab if you need anything," I said then walked away to go work in my lap

-kantaro p.o.v-

So this is nozel Silva... He doesn't look like the one to care but he is royalty and is cousin of fuegoleon so he can't be that bad

"how did y/n know how to use a sword? She seemed like a professional at it," mister royalty asked

"being a swordsman is in our mothers  blood, so we want to continue that tradition of hers for being a swordsman but my other younger sister went to my father's bloodline. So me and y/n just continued our mothers bloodline cause she passed away,  and I know y/n doesn't know cause... Never mind, " I just had to spill the lats art huh? This is a big mistake to do

"I'm sorry for your loss, my mother has also passed away years ago," he replied, so his mother passed away as well? Must be hard cause he has three siblings...

"sorry to interrupt your doings,  so I shall leave. Goodbye, " he said then exited the base. Hes not as bad as I thought.
