In the past, my family was just fine when I wasn't around cause they only had 2 children, but when I was born it became chaos but my brother was always there for me and loved me, tho he isn't my brother I see him as one

-flashback-

"oi! stop laying around and get to work you lazyass" my older sister s/n yells at me making me flinch

"p-please s-stop s/n-neechama," I said quietly then she laughs at me, why do I deserve this...

"HAHAHA! what a weakling that can't even defend herself, you don't deserve to be royal," she says as tears started to stream down my face, I ran away from her and went to my room

"why do I have to deserve this... I did nothing to them" I mumbled to myself then looked at the balcony I had

"maybe I can run away, I have control of my power anyway," I say to myself, I grabbed my bag and packed my needs then jumped out of the balcony

I was walking around some village until I bumped into someone

"Hey, are you ok?" I look up to see a red-haired guy with blue eyes in front of me, I nodded and stood up

"girls shouldn't walk around alone," he says and I nodded, he seems nice

"I'm xerx ideale, what's your name?" he asks and I nodded again

"y/n... just y/n" I reply and he just looks at me

"do you have a family?" he asks and I shook my head in no

"come with me, I'll ask my dad if you can stay at our house," he says grabbing my wrist and we ran to his house, why is he being so nice to me?

"dad!" he yells and with red hair with the same blue eyes came out from a room

"hello Zora, who's this?" he replies then I hide behind Zora, this man seems nice...

"This is y/n, do you kind if she stays here? she doesn't have a family" he says and the man smiles then get near us

"of course! if she has no family it's alright, we can't leave a girl in the streets alone" he says then patted my head

"thank you, sir..." I reply to him giving him a little smile, is this what a loving parent is?

"I'll show you our room," he says leading me to the room I'll be staying in, this is what a loving sibling is...

"you haven't told me why you were on the streets by the way, why were you there?" he asks and I looked away

"it's because I don't want to deal with my old family anymore... they hated me for no reason," I say then I felt a pair of arms around me, it was Zoras

"sorry that you had to go through that, but if you want to surpass them be a magic knight like dad!" he says and I looked at him confused

"magic knights are a strong group that serves the king, there's a lot of strong people that joined, dad is a magic knight too!" he says and my eyes lit up, Woah! that's so cool!

"if we train enough we can join, once we get our grimoire we will have new powers to get even stronger with!" he says and I smiled brightly, we can save people!

"We can become magic knights together! we will get stronger together and protect humanity!" I say happily and laughed, and I swear to protect you as my very own brother
