Sofia is getting older, and so are her friends and siblings. As her 13th birthday approaches, she wonders if anything would be any different had she never been a princess. Cedric helps her out by transporting her to the Never Realm, an alternate rea...
The light disappeared, and it was all just a dream. Sofia woke up and found herself in her bedroom...in the castle, not the shoe shop in the village. She looked down and saw that she was wearing the Amulet, and it was ruby pink. Sofia was happy to know that everything was back to normal. Before she knew it, Cedric magically appeared before her.
"I take it you had sweet dreams?" Cedric assumed.
"It was more of a nightmare," Sofia shrugged. "But thank you so much. You helped me realize that I'm meant to be a princess."
"Then consider it a birthday present," Cedric smiled. "Happy 13th birthday by the way."
"Thank you," Sofia smiled, hugging Cedric.
"I'll see you later," Cedric said. Then he magically disappeared.
There was a knock on Sofia's bedroom door, and in entered Baileywick, who was carrying a dress that looked like the one Elena wore, except it was pink and lavender. "The happiest of birthdays to you, Princess Sofia," he smiled. "Behold! A gift from Collette, the royal dressmaker!"
"Thank you, Baileywick," Sofia smiled.
"You're most welcome," Baileywick smiled back. "Now hurry and change. Your guests will be here soon for your birthday party."
Sofia put on her new dress and put her hair in a ponytail. Then she looked in her cabinet of tiaras and picked out a silver tiara with pink rubies that looked somewhat like the one Princess Astrid of Freezenburg wore.

Seeing her reflection made Sofia happy to know that she was meant to be royalty because she helped so many people. In no time, Sofia went out in the garden, and everyone was happy to see the birthday princess.
"Happy birthday, Sofia!" Miranda and Roland smiled.
"Oh, look at you!" Miranda gushed. "I always knew you were gorgeous, but if you looked it up in the dictionary, you'd find your picture."
"Hi, Sofie," Hugo smiled.
"Hi, Hugo," Sofia smiled back. She hugged her boyfriend tightly, happy to see that he was the sweet kid she turned him into.
"Happy birthday, Sofia," Hugo and Axel's pet alpacamundi, Turquoise, smiled.
"Thank you, Turquoise," Sofia smiled.
Everyone enjoyed the birthday party. Sofia just walked around, happy with how everything turned out. It felt good to see everyone happy.
"How are you doing, Sofie?" Hugo asked.
"Just fine, Hugo," Sofia replied. "A lot has happened since the first time I put on a tiara—so much has changed."
"And it's all thanks to you," Hugo smiled. He began to sing a reprise of the song Sofia sang in her dream—and everyone joined in.
HUGO: Thanks to you, we can no longer suffer
You sure know how to use your heart
To help anyone in great need to begin a whole new fresh start
AMBER: We can always count on you
To help anyone who's in need
JAMES: Don't stop there—just keep it going
It all starts with a small deed
ALL: We all owe our thanks to you
To ourselves, we must be true
We will not live our lives by half
We have the right to choose our paths
Yes, it is very clear to see
You made us who we're meant to be
We will not live our lives by half
We have the right to choose...
Yes, you really helped us choose...
We have the right to choose our paths!
Everyone cheered loudly. As a kid, Sofia didn't think she was fit to be a princess, but throughout the years, she'd helped a lot of people unlock their potential: Amber, Cedric, Hildegard, Clio, Hugo, Ivy, Vivian, Desmond...she didn't know who else would need her help to become who they're meant to be.
