Amane skipped school today.
He didn't want to go.
Not without her
He locked himself in his bedroom, along with Black Canyon.
His eyes were tired due to crying all night, his hand still clutching on the keychain as he used his other hand to feed the hamster.
And then...
He cried again by remembering how he used to watch Yashiro feed this hamster that used to be hers.

"Yashiro-chan, come on!" Amane exclaimed.
"W-Wait a minute, please, Amane-kun! Black Canyon is hungry!" She replied.
He went to her bedroom, to see her feeding the black little fur ball with sunflower seeds.
Amane started at Yashiro with awe, until she noticed him.
"Ah! Amane-kun, do you want to try?" She asked as she pulled out another seed.
"I-It won't bite, will it?" He asked nervously.
"No silly. Black Canyon-chan is a good hamster." She replied as she petted the hamster.

"Good times..." he mumbled to himself.
He watched as Black Canyon climb his hand and rested on it.
"Do you do this to her too?" He asked.
No answer. Not like he was expecting one.
"Yeah, I miss her too..."

"Oof."
"Y-Yashiro-chan! Are you okay?!" Amane rushed towards Yashiro, who was on the ground.
"Nene is okay..." Yashiro replied.
"Be careful with the ball next time... You'll trip again." Amane scolded her.
"Aww... Is Amane-kun worried about me...?" Yashiro teased.
That left Amane flushed.
"Fine. I'm not going to worry about you anymore." Amane turned away from Yashiro,
"H-Hey! I'm sorry..." Yashiro replied.
No answer.
Amane turned around, when he saw a teared up Yashiro.
