(3rd person p.o.v.)

The Q&A continued with laughter, shocked faces (from shadow of course), and the bonding with the two 'rivals'. Well, that was until shadow's last two questions. "Ok ok, *chuckle* second to the last question." "Hit me shads" "Do you have a crush on somebody?" Sonic froze and blushed madly to the point he was crimson red. "*stammers* u-uh *sighs* fine yes I do!!" He pouted and crossed his arms. "Ooooo ok, Who specifically are crushing on?" Shadow nudges sonic. "eh? eeehhhh?" Sonic laughs. pushes him away and sighs. "Well, it's uh..."

(3rd person p.o.v)
"I'm waaiiiitttiiinnnngggg~" Shadow teases sonic with said hedgehog's own line. Sonic chuckles "Well, I'm crushing on...*mumbles*" "what?" "I'm crushing on you shadow.." Sonic's ears go flat on his head as he waits for a punch or kick while lowering his head but never happened. He looks up, sees shadow blushing, and smiling. "I see well close your eyes Sonic." Sonic does what was told still waiting to get smacked but feels something soft on his lips.

He opens his eyes, they widen and see that shadow the hedgehog is kissing him on the lips. Sonic is dumbfounded when shadow breaks it. "Sonic you ok there?" Shadow looks at sonic who wraps his arms around Shadow's neck and kisses him passionately and deeply. Shadow is shocked then quickly kisses back the same way. They broke the kiss, place each other's forehead against one another, and purr quietly only to hear each other while their tail wags like crazy. Little did they know they had uninvited guests watching them.

(Tails' p.o.v.)
I was watching Sonic and Shadow with Rouge they were awkward until they started laughing I wonder what they were talking about. "Come on shadow make the move! Don't be a whiimmppp!!" I chuckled at Rouge's words but I wanted them to kiss so badly. We both saw Sonic closed his eyes and our eyes widen. We. saw. them. KISSING! I could scream in happiness but I don't our cover to be blown. I nudged Rouge to fly back home to leave the lovebird to themselves. She nods and we fly off then high-five each other while screaming in joy.

(Shadow's p.o.v.)

Hearing sonic purr was so soothing that I can fall asleep. "So....does this make us a thing?" asked said hedgehog and sat up. "Only if you like to sonic I wouldn't mind" I placed my hand on his, we looked into each other's eyes. He smiled and placed the top of his head on my chest while saying, "I want to spend my life with you shadow through thick and thin." I kissed his head "Sonic"

"hm?" he looks up at me. "Would you like to be my boyfriend?" I looked at him lovingly and he nodded. "Can I kiss you?" he asked and I chuckled. "No need to ask my hedgie I'm yours as much as you're mine" He smiles and we kiss. We break the kiss and look into each other's eyes: ruby staring into emerald, emerald into ruby. "If we could stay like this forever I would" I say and he giggles "I know but we should head home it's getting late plus I know Tails is worried about me" We packed the picnic and raced home.

(Rouge's p.o.v.)

Me and Tails we're talking to each other while waiting for the two love hogs to get home. "Rouge you ok? You haven't blinked and stopped starring at the door" I turn to Tails and sigh. "I'm sorry Tails I'm just waiting for those two to get here since our plan worked...have you spoken to Robotnik about their relationship? Since he's Sonic's father and all.." Tails eyes widen "you know about Eggman and Sonic's relationship?" I nod "shadow told me since the first day he caught Big blue at Eggmans." He laughs a bit "well let's just hope that Eggman won't kill shadow since he's dating his son now" We laugh then we were talking some more until we heard the door open and dare I say it? Laughing from both lovehogs.

(No one's p.o.v.)
The two lovehogs walk into Sonic's shared house with Tails, paused and froze seeing their best friend sitting there looking at them with a smirk? Sure they're used to Rouge's flirty personality but on Tails it was weird. They step away from each other and clear their throats. "Well welcome home boys strange to see you two so close without ripping each others throat out why is that?" Rouge says trying to hold in her squeal. Shadow goes back to his cold and grumpy attitude "hmph that's none of your business bat come on lets go home." He makes eye contact with rouge his eyes saying 'I need to talk to you back home'.
Rouge sighs "Alright handsome lets go see you Tails bye big blue~" she says on the way out both members of team dark heading back home.
