Apologies for the shorter chapter this time around. Was super sleep deprived writing this.

"Hurt?" Razor worried.

Bennett shook his head, "No, no, I'm okay! Just a small burn from the sto-" he cut himself off when Razor gently grabbed his hand. "What are you- Eep!" Bennett would've been embarrassed by the undignified sound that had just escaped his lips but instead all his attention had been turned to Razor who's tongue was grazing against the burned skin. The warmth of his mouth stung a bit against the burn and Bennett couldn't help but squirm. Razor pressed against him more, trying to hold him still. Bennett's face has practically burst into flames and he wondered just when he would spontaneously combust. He could hear his blood in his ears as it traveled through his body and to- "Thank you, Razor! But I am okay! I get hurt like this all the time so you should really lay down and rest now."

Razor pulled back, "Razor sorry."

"Don't worry about it, it's fine. I'm fine." Bennett's pulse had already began to settle again, "Anyway, your fever, is it any better?"

Bennett leaned forward, brushing away Razor's hair with his fingers before placing the back of his hand against Razor's face. "Razor! You're burning up!"

Razor felt it too, he really did feel awful but didn't want to complain to Bennett, who had already done so much for him. Bennett continued to lecture Razor as the red eyed boy let himself be pushed back to bed.

They were mostly there when Razor stopped suddenly, looking even more unwell than he did before. "Razor?"

Razor's hands clasped over his mouth and Bennett leapt into action. Grabbing a bucket and pulling Razor to the floor with him. Razor retched into the bucket that Bennett had thrown in front of him. Once the pail had been steadied, Bennett gently tugged the silver strands of hair from Razor's face, combing his fingers through the sick boy's hair soothingly.

Razor continued to purge his stomach's contents for an uncomfortably long period of time and it had made Bennett quite worried. Bennett hadn't much knowledge on caring for the sick but he could recall the sweet things his dads would do for him when he'd fallen ill as a boy. Hesitantly, hoping not to breach Razors personal space, Bennett tucked the loose hair behind Razors ear and began to rub small circles on his back.

After a long while, when Bennett was sure that this episode had concluded, he helped Razor to his feet. Razor swayed, as the room spun and Bennett made sure to grip his shoulders tightly to steady him.

Once Razor was tucked safely into bed, Bennett disappeared into the kitchen, returning shortly after with bottled water. Razor stared at him, still dazed. "Razor, you should drink this. You're probably pretty dehydrated after all that."

Razor stared at the water for a few moments, hating the idea of putting anything else in his stomach but when he looked at Bennett's hopeful and worried gaze, he obliged. Following that, Bennett gently took the water from him and set it gently atop the bedside table while Razor yawned. "You should sleep," Bennett suggested.

"Bennett stay?" Razor sounded desperate, and Bennett wondered to himself is Razor had ever experienced such an illness. Sure, living in the wild might give his immune system more opportunities to build a resistance to illnesses, but surely he'd been sick before.

"You want me to stay?" Bennett clarified, he couldn't help but be just a little bit touched that Razor wanted his company.

"Yes."

"Yeah, of course I'll stay with you, Razor."

He smiled softly, "Razor happy."

Bennett didn't say anything but he, too, was delighted.
