Chapter Twelve: Stay the night

Toni's POV:

It was time for everyone to leave and Betty thought we were all riding in her car but I wanted to take my bike. It's been too long since I've rode it. Ronnie saw I had my Serpents jacket on and was heading towards my bike.

"Hey Toni can I ride with you?" Ronnie asked, walking over to me as I just sat down it. I really didn't mine but a part of me got sad when she said that. Cheryl was always my partner. She always rode with me. I remembered her words when she visited me when I died in the hospital. She told me to take a chance and basically go with the flow. She pretty much set me free.

"yeah you can beautiful. I'd love that." I told her smiling softly. I handed her my helmet as I started it up. It was getting dark soon so we had to head out now to get there on time. Ronnie smiled, jumping on as I put the kick stand up.

Once she was safely sat behind me, arms wrapped tight around me as I floored it down the street. I could hear her scream and laugh as we flew to the Wyrm.

When we pulled up, I noticed not many people were here yet but I did see Sweet and Fangs bikes sitting in the front. I pulled next to theirs. I killed the bike early and let it slide into the spot. Betty and Jug pulled next to me. I helped Ronnie get off and put the helmet on the handle bars. I fixed my jacket and took a deep breath. The last time I was here, I died.

We all walked in. I let everyone go before, being the last one to enter. I could hear everyone cheering as they saw them walk in. I slowly popped in and they stopped. It was like everyone saw a ghost. It was quiet before the whole bar erupted in cheers for me. I felt myself smile so hard that my face hurt. My name was being chanted all around as Sweet and Fangs picked me up in a hug. Everyone was so happy to see me. It made me feel special honestly. I knew I meant something to some but all the Serpents were smiling and hugging me. Some of the OG's came over and told me it was good to have me back. I called them my family before but now I can tell these were my people and I'd do anything for them.

Shortly after everyone said hi. Sweet dragged me over to the bar where we did a lot of shots. I lost count after five. I was feeling good as we sat at the bar. "How you been Tiny? I missed you. Coming here everyday and not seeing your stupid face was a bummer. You always made me laugh and smile. You really do belong here. It feels like the gang is complete now. You were the missing piece for everyone. Even the OG's missed you. We love you Toni. I love you and you know that. We may have had a difficult past but you're still my Tiny and I don't know what I'd do without you. You are my person and I need you to be here. I'm here for you, no matter what. I'm just a call or text away when you need someone. Don't forget that." He said getting a little emotional towards the end. He was right. We did have a complicated past. He was my first relationship. He fell in love with me but my feelings never grew. We had a mutual split but it was hard. I love hi, I do with my whole heart but not in the same way. I'm more into girls and he accepts that now.

"Thank you Sweet. I really needed to hear that. Especially from you. You are my person as well. You know I love you. It's forever my dude. You and me. That never changed. I really missed this man. These drinks are really hitting me right now. About to have me getting emotional and shit." I told him and he laughed, pulling me into a side hug, kissing my cheek. He really was one of my favorite people.

We talked for awhile, catching up and joking around. More shots were given to me and I was gone. I knew I was going to have to sober up soon but Betty is the designated driver so I'll just catch a ride with her tonight. I just downed my 13 shot as I felt someone tap my shoulder. I smiled seeing a mildly intoxicated Ronnie.

"What's up babe?" I asked her, not even second guessing what I called her. It felt right and the alcohol in my system was making me even more confident with her. She blushed, "Come dance with me, I love this song but have no one to dance with it so come on please?" she pouted slightly causing me to laugh a little. I nodded my head, letting her pull me away from Sweet and the boys. There was quiet a few teens and 20 year old's on the floor so modern music was playing through the speakers.
