Chapter 2 | yard time

After lunch i didnt see Taurus again that day, i just layed in my cell all night and most of that morning too. Being here was giving me a sick feeling in my stomach and I needed air. So when the guard came around saying it was yard time that was the one time i had gotten up actually excited for something. I followed after the guard outside to pretty much just a basketball court which was already filled with alot of people so i decided to just sit on the bench.

I closed my eyes for a second when a ball came flying towards me, I opened my eyes putting my hands up trying to atleast catch the ball without breaking something and luckily i did "damn" i heard someone say with a deep chicago accent

That was the first thing i noticed untill i heard Taurus laugh "yo ti, toss the ball" he said

Another guy who was standing next to him shook his head, he had black and blonde dreads that fell a little passed his shoulders " nah lil folk pass it to me" he said

Another guy who had only blonde dreads rolled his eyes " yo name ti right?  Pass it to me, von sucks at basketball" he said as von punched him lightly

The guy with the deep accent rolled his eyes " yall both suck, littearly and at basketball" he said making me laugh

Taurus smiled as i tossed him the ball " thanks folk" he said

I smiled as he tossed the ball in the hoop and everyone else groaned " i win" he said shrugging as he started walking over to me.

I smiled moving over so he could sit down " now that i won that's von, durk, and Keith" he said as they started walking over

I nodded " see now i wish keith was the first person i met " i said joking

Taurus looked at me fake offended " i thought we was friends" he said

Keith laughed shoving him to the side slightly so he could sit down " i stole yo friend nigga" he said laughing

Von sat down pulling durk down into his lap " Keith is not a friend you want to meet, hes a total jerk to random people" he said as durk nodded

Keith looked at him offended " i am not" he said defensively

Von rolled his eyes " nigga the first time we met you tried to trip me in the hallway." He said

Durk laughed " me too, we was lucky yo ass use to be tiny" he said

Taurus smiled " nigga was skinny, short and kinda lopsided" he said

Keith rolled his eyes " yall some assholes, im going back to my cell" he said standing up and walking away

I watched for a second before turning to Taurus " is he really mad?" I asked

Taurus shook his head " nah and if he is he'll get over it quickly. I should probably check on him though, see you around ti" he said standing up and walking after him

I watched as they walked up to one of the gaurds and were taken inside " how'd you meet Taurus" durk asked

I turned around sighing " at dinner last night when I got here" i said

Von laughed " oh you the nigga who sat in his seat" he said as i nodded

Durk was about to say something but the guard came back and told us yard time was up. I sighed standing up following after them to where the guard was. I was taken back to my cell and as the door shut the same feeling of sickness came back to me.
