By the time there was any sort of news on Seonghwa and his condition, the sun had already started to set, the remaining seven remained in the waiting room, at some point Hongjoong was pacing around the waiting room so he wasn't sitting still. The doctor came up to them, letting them all know hat Seonghwa was out of surgery, and that he would eventually be okay. The reason the surgery had taken so long was because when he was shot, it had hit an artery so they had to get that taken care of.
The relief flooded them all, hell Hongjoong was close to sobbing due to the relief he felt knowing his lover was going to be okay, sitting down in a seat but that wasn't long until he was back in his feet again. "Can I see him?"
The doctor thought about it, taking a glance to everyone before he was turning to Hongjoong. "He's still unconscious but you can if you really want. I'd advise you keep it at a minimal so when he does wake up he's not overwhelmed. Hongjoong would nod to let the doctor know he understood, and turned to San already handing his keys to him. "You take Wooyoung home. I'll be the one to stay here with Seonghws and watch over him." He even turned to the other four. "You're welcome to stay at my place too for the night, I'll call if anything happens." Wooyoung watched Hongjoong turn his back to them, and was following the doctor so he could get to Seonghwa as soon as he could.
"Come on, I'm certain you're tired and hungry, we can all decide on food once we get back." A hand was outstretched to Wooyoung, which he took and had stood up from the chair. He was right, he didn't realize just how hungry he was since Seonghwa was on everyone's mind, none had even thought about food. Wooyoung went with San, and got into the passenger seat while San got in the driver's. It was assumed the other couples would follow as they drove back to the olders' home where they could all just relax and eventually get food into their systems.
Though as they were all settling down, the questions came rolling in asking what the hell even happened and how Seonghwa was even injured in the first place.
San and Wooyoung turned to each other, before both shrugging in sync. "I was out, I wasn't even aware they all came to my house to get me out of there." Wooyoung started. "And I was upstairs talking with his dad when I heard a gunshot." San chimed in, Wooyoung leaning back in the couch while he was also crossing his legs and placing his hands in his lap. Answering al their questions the best the two could, when things were satisfied, now comes the most important question: What should be for dinner.
"Well I'm surely not cooking." San first spoke as he decided he'd get comfortable on the couch, even putting his head on Wooyoung's lap, who obviously didn't mind. "After the shit day I had, I deserve a break from cooking." Wooyoung had raised his hand to push back his pink bangs, taking notice on how faded the pink was. He definitely was in need of a bit of a touch up on it. Now that he thought about it, he never had his hair dyed before. His dad said no plus it wasn't anything he was really too upset over but maybe now he was under his rule anymore he could change that.
