Climbing Contemplations

المجيب | The One who responds

I'm sitting behind

On the passengers' seat

And the radio button at a far reach

My soul cries for its feed

Qiraa'tul Quran for attaining its peace

but I have this inkling thought

Of troubling my dad

And so I keep shut , I just have to ask

'Could you turn on

the radio please ?'

So I ask Allah Al Naseer

I ask Him for my awaiting need

As small as it is

I know He'd listen, He's As Sameè

                  And within seconds ! Perhaps a fraction or two

he turns on the radio

and I hear the qira'a being read in a flow

I smile to myself , my insides tingling

For how fast did my Rabb respond

To this tiny wish

of His amat below 

So here is my treasured reminder for you

First to myself and then to you

To ask of Allah

When a need arises so

However small it may seem to thou

For no one can aid you

Except by His will

And none can help you

except Him alone

So ask Him First, when you want response

For He'll always be there

Al Mujeeb , to respond .
