Avi was on video call with her parents. Jan enters her room.
Jan: Hey Avi! See we have got the admission confirmation letter. We have to show it to the principal the day before collage starts and here's the ticket. We are leaving tomorrow early morning. Avi's pov: But I didn't submit the form. Then who..? (She looked towards Jan who gestured "I did") Oh of course she is behind this. Am: Congratulations!! I will talk to you later. Both of you should start packing. Your dad has arranged everything there. Janneet: Ok bye mom/aunty. Am: Bye beta, take care and call me when you reach. Janneet: Okay.
Hangs up the call
Jan: So let's start packing. Avi: Okayyy.

Avi: I still can't believe. We are going to America. Jai (dramatically removing a tear drop from eyes): But I have to believe. Because both my sisters are leaving me alone in India. Avi: I know how lonely you will be. But don't worry I will miss you. (hugs him) Jai (hugs her back): Promise me you will call me everyday. (breaks the hug) Avi: Promise.
Jan (pouting): So you will only miss Avi. Not me. Jai: No one will ever miss a Chudail of course! Jan: Did you just call me Chudail?! Jai: I guess you need a hearing machine. (moving towards her ear and shout) YES I CALLED YOU CHUDAIL.
(Jaineet starts laughing) Jan: I guess I need a hearing machine now! After an "emotional" goodbye they left for California. The next morning they reached California.
In California
Jan: Finally we reached! Avi: Yes. I have booked the cab. It will be here in 2 minutes. They took the cab and left the airport. They reach their destination after 40 mins. Avi: I can't believe he dropped us in the wrong address. Jan: No no he didn't. Turn behind and look there. (pointing towards a building)
Avi: So let's go. Jan: Yes. Jan excitedly ran from there towards the building leaving Avi with all the boxes and luggage. Avi: Jan wait. Who will carry the boxes?! Avi's pov: Ugh. I can't believe she left me with all the stuff.
