Tamao flattened his ears, the sharp pain of rejection still lingered by. The Umbreon sighed to himself. Why couldn't Cyra just say yes? Tamao remembered his meeting with his brother.Cyra's older sisters were chattering up a storm nearby. Luna was holding the bags full of arts and crafts. While JJ didn't carry anything.

The two Pokemon noticed Tamao in an instant. "Tamao? What are you doing here? Where's Cyra?" Luna asked, rushing towards the Umbreon."It's a long story." He mumbled, glancing away with shame. He didn't want to explain anything to them, the humiliation would be too much for him.

"Is Cyra okay?" JJ asked, eyes wide with concern.

"She's fine, I just need to get back. I promised my brother I would be there." Tamao mumbled. JJ and Luna glanced at each other with relief.

"Cya" JJ called once the male Umbreon distanced himself from Cyra's

 sisters. The house wasn't too far from the Bar. He knocked on the door, impatiently waiting.

Gai opened the door with a surprised look on his face, he hugged Tamao. The Umbreon felt quite disturbed, his gaze searched the room for Cyra, who was staring at Tamao with guilt. They both avoided eye contact.

He saw affection in Gai and Cyra when their eyes met. Envy and fury blazed within him. He silently glared at his older brother, wishing to be him.

Suddenly it struck him; Were they...mates? Already? Tamao gazed aside, he had to disregard it.

"Gai." Tamao said awkwardly, "Remember why you came here?" He asked coldly.

"Oh, right!" Gai chuckled, padding over towards his brother."Cyra, I forgot to tell you that we're going to the Galar region; me, Tamao, and my other siblings!" Gai explained. Cyra looked confused and shocked, and she didn't need to say a word. "We're going back to see our parents!" The Espeon added, "You could come if you'd like."

"I..What about my sisters?" Cyra excused nervously. "You're sisters can come." Gai purred lovingly, Tamao wanted to throw up. "Alright." Cyra suddenly seemed excited, but also nervous.
