Carnival pt 2

Hiroshi.

Mei walked side by side with a Jolteon, a Fennekin in front of them. There were all sorts of rides and fun places to go to, it overstimulated Mei's brain, but she got a hold of herself. I wonder what Damini thinks of all of this. . .  She thought to herself, looking at the Jolteon who gave a blank expression as he walked.

That's not like him, Usually he's snappy or chill and a pretty fun guy..but he's never had a blank face for something that should be exciting! But Mei shook that thought out of her head, this could be her chance after all. Damini looked around, wiping off the blank expression, "I'm pretty hungry." He said nervously looking around.

"Do you know any food places Hiroshi?" Damini asked.

"Yes, well...I do in fact." She smiled, "Follow me!" The Fennekin chirped, she trotted towards her left, Damini picked up speed, trying to catch up. Mei did the same, There was music in the air with some Jigglypuffs singing harsh rock music, while on the other side there were Jiggypuffs singing soft music, but that was in the Baby Pokemon isle, with some Pokemon eggs Riolus and Pichu s were singing along but not in the best way.

There were no signs of the baby Pokemon, and the egg's mothers or fathers.

What kind of Pokemon would ever leave their egg and child without supervision? Mei thought to herself in shock. If I was a mother, I'd never do such a thing! She said to herself in disgust.

"Mei! Are you coming?" Damini asked, signaling his ears for her to follow him. She nodded as her heart filled with joy and beating fast, her ears twitching a bit but she had to hold it in, or else she'd embarrass herself in front of many Pokemon! Nothing is worse than that! She thought to herself, trotting to Damini. But there is, one thing...Being embarrassed in front of Damini! She reached the Jolteon and he raced to catch up with Hiroshi.

The Fennekin smiled willingly at the Jolteon and gave Mei an approving nod. Mei stood there, frozen. There's something about that Fennekin that makes me both angry and insecure, Is she trying to gain the trust of Damini so she can manipulate him into doing her bidding? 

She trotted to catch up to the two, then looked up at the cafe's sign. "Tatu's Cafe.." Mei read out loud. "How original" She added, rolling her eyes. 

Damini smirked as Hiroshi eyed him teasingly, both Pokemon entered the Cafe with Mei behind them. There were Pokemon sitting on chairs and eating Sandwiches, Salads, Pancakes, Coffee.

A Goodra was serving Delphox and a Lucario, a Riolu in the middle of them, joyful as ever as it munched down on its carrot soup, while the Delphox ate her spicy Magikarp and the Lucario drank his coffee.

"Mei! Hiroshi! Damini!" Called a voice.

Mei quickly turned to see Barak waving at them with her paw and inviting them to sit with her, Iris was next to her, embarrassed by Barak's actions. "Barak!" Mei called, reaching her close friend and sitting next to her while Damini and Hiroshi sat together on the other side of the table.

A Flaaffy wearing a tuxedo with the name-tag called Fuzzy walked towards the Pokemon with a cheerful expression, making Mei want to jump up to dance and sing. Too bad I can't, plus my singing is horrible.

"Hello, I'm Fuzzy your waitress for today, here is your menu and I'll be back to take Note of what you want." She said warmly, she then handed 5 menus to the Pokemon at the table and then walked off to the Counter and chatted with a Marshtomp.

"Oo! They have Spicy Magikarp so I'm going with that!" Barak purred.

"Is meat all you eat? Why not go vegan?" Iris said, rolling his eyes.

"What? I'm a Fire-type, so I like spicy things!" Barak argued.

"That's a stereotype!" Iris barked back.

"Is not!"

"Yes, it is!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

By that time, some Pokemon stopped doing what they were doing to look at the fighting couple, Some of them with puzzled and surprised faces that two fully grown Pokemon would act so childish.

"Quit acting like Eevees you two, even a hatchling would have better manners!" Hiroshi interrupted, slamming her small paws on the table. Damini nodded in agreement. Barak's face grew rosy pink as she blushed in embarrassment and shock.

"I'm not Hungry, You know what, I'll go for a walk," Iris said, his tone wasn't stable so Mei guessed that he was just too embarrassed to even say anything anymore.

Mei watched him walk out of the Cafe, his ears pinned back against his head.

Fuzzy, her waitress then came up to the remaining Pokemon asking, "Are you all ready and sure about what you're ordering?" Damini, Hiroshi, Mei, and Barak all nodded.

"I'd like to have Spicy Magikarp please," Barak said, pointing at the picture of it and its description.

"Pumpakboo soup please, and I'd like some sticks in it too, Fresh sticks." The Fennekin said, Mei, looked surprised at the Fennekin's tone.

"And what about you two?" She asked, looking at Damini and Mei.

"I'd like Lighting Drink please," Damini said.

"And I'll get..water..just..water," Mei said awkwardly as the Flaaffy just simply nodded as it noted down the orders.

The waitress finished writing down she walked away and placed the sheet of paper on a counter where the Marshtomp was standing, the Pokemon took it and went inside a door, perhaps to give it to their cooks.

"Here's your spicy Magikarp." Fuzzy said with delight as she placed the plate of food in front of Barak, "And you're soup." She gave Hiroshi her Pumpkaboo soup with two sticks sticking out.  "You're Lighting drink" She handed Damini his soda "And..you're water." She placed the plastic bottle of water in front of the Glaceon with joy.

"What makes her so happy?" Mei whispered.

"I'm going to be a mother!" she whispered to Mei, the Glaceon felt both embarrassed and happy for Fuzzy, but mostly embarrassed since she had overheard her.

"But how?" Mei said, confused.

"You see, I'm married to a Gardevoir, and she's female..we got a surrogate Gallade and now she's pregnant and soon I'll be a mother!" Fuzzy whispered again.

"But the baby isn't related to you," Mei said again, still puzzled as ever.

"I know, but the baby is still my child legally, it's like adoption," Fuzzy said, keeping calm.

"Ohhhhh," Mei said, Fuzzy nodded before heading over to another group of Pokemon, It Containted a male Pikachu and a female one, and their child, a male Pichu. That Pichu looks familiar...Is that the Pichu that was singing with other baby Pokemon? Oh well, It doesn't matter now...

"Done!" Damini said, slamming the empty soda can on the table, making Mei jump a little.

"You scared me!" Mei, Hiroshi, and Barak all said at the same time.

"Ladies, Ladies calm down!" Damini said, he seemed surprised that all three female Pokemon said the same thing and the same time! "If I was him, I'd say and feel the same thing, " Mei sighed to herself, no more than a whisper, making sure that no Pokemon heard her.
