Ch. 22: A Chance to Relax

Mina POV:

I woke up the next day in my bed, wearing one of (Y/N)'s shirts. He and I stayed up until curfew watching Netflix yesterday after he got back from the hospital. I sat on the edge of my bed and stretched before standing up. It was Friday, around 7:30 in the morning. I let out a happy sigh as the sun shown into my room from my window. No nightmares last night, so that was good. I secretly wished I spent the night with (Y/N) though, but I couldn't. 

Mina: Oh well! I'm sure I'll have plenty of chances to do that in the future!

I went through my daily morning routine and headed downstairs, but before I did I stopped by (Y/N)'s room and slowly opened the door. I was surprised to see he wasn't there, but I figured he's probably downstairs already. I closed his door and headed downstairs. When I got down I headed to the kitchen to grab some breakfast. Sato had made some muffins last night, so I took two and bit into one of them as I walked out the kitchen. I looked around the room, confused as to why I didn't see (Y/N) anywhere, but shortly after, he walked into the common room. (Y/N) had been given special permission to be excused from classes today. 

Mina: "Hey baby! How'd you sleep last night?"

(Y/N): "Better than I did in that hospital bed that's for sure.."

Mina: *giggles* "I grabbed a muffin for ya!"

(Y/N): "Aww well aren't you polite!"

Mina: *snarkily* "I could just eat it if you're going to be that way about it."

(Y/N): "Aw c'mon you know I'm just messing around!"

Mina: *giggling* "I know I know I'm just teasing you. So what're you gonna do today? I know you're not allowed to train for a while."

(Y/N): "I might just hang out in my room for the day, or watch something on the TV." 

Mina: "Lucky...I wish I could sit and watch movies instead of schoolwork..."

(Y/N): "Well, after I recover a bit more I'll be right back out there with you and the others!"

I smiled a little bit at what I heard. Training was rough, but when (Y/N) was there it felt kinda easier, and more fun. A lot of things felt that way when he and I were together, so it was good to have him back. He smiled a bit too and came up to hug me. I was lost in my head so it kinda caught me off guard, but the moment I realized I returned it as best I could without squishing the muffins. Eventually he let go and grabbed a muffin from my hand before coming to sit next to me on the couch. Once again the guys were taking bets on who was being interviewed today. There were only 3 other heroes who haven't been interviewed; Hawks, Mr. Aizawa, and (Y/N). But today the news was different. It was talking about how (Y/N) was discharged from the hospital yesterday. 

Kirishima: "Huh. looks like there's no interview today. Hey! Speaking of which, (Y/N)! You should do an interview!"

(Y/N) nearly choked on his muffin.

(Y/N): "Uhh...I'm not really big on media attention...for obvious reasons."

Kaminari: "Like what?"

(Y/N): "Because I'm an ex-vigilante you fucking donut."

Kaminari: "......Ohhhhh riiiiiight...."

Mina: "Well maybe you can get the interview and clear some things up!"

Sero: "Is anyone else getting some deja vu right now?"

(Y/N): "Yeah and I don't know why..."

Mina: "Huh...weird..."
