When Shadows Come Forth (Mina Ashido x Male reader)

Ch 7: Ambush

(Y/N) POV:

???: "Hello, Shade. We've been dying to meet you."

(Y/N): *sternly* "Who the fuck are you and what do you want!?"

???: "My name is Tomura Shigaraki. This is Mr. Compress, Spinner, Toga, Dabi, and Kurogiri. We are the League of Villains."

(Y/N): "I don't give a shit about them, I asked who you were. Now what do you want?!"

Shigaraki: "Well, to be quite frank with you, we have been observing you for some time now. Ever since your victory over Kosuke Takahashi, the villain with the melting breath? We've been watching you grow, and I must say, I am impressed. As of what I want from you? I want you to join us. Join the League and become more than you are."

(Y/N): "Become more? I already know that even if I stayed a vigilante, I still would have been more than YOU! You and your little League CAN GO TO HELL!!"

As I said this, I activated my quirk and got ready to fight. If these guys really were as strong as I've heard, then I needed to be careful. I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Kirishima.

Kirishima: "Hey. We're with you. Through Hell and back."

I grinned at him as I looked to see my other friends readying their quirks. Denki making sparks on his arms, Jiro pointing her ear jacks to the villains, Sero pointing his arms at them, and Mina readying her acid. We then turned to face the villains. One of them, the scarred, purple skin guy, started making blue flames from his body. The Mr. Compress guy held some marbles in his hands, the lizardman unsheathed a sword made of a bunch of other blades. They were the first to attack. The Dabi guy shot his fire at us, but I made a shade shield to keep us from being burned alive. As I covered us with the shield, Spinner jumped over it, trying to slash at us, but Kirishima used his hardening to block the blade, deflecting it. Mr. Compress then threw a marble into the air, it then turned into a car directly above us at the snap of his fingers. I used my free hand to grab it mid-air with a tendril. I pulled the car so hard to make it go to the side, I felt my shoulder pop out of its socket. I winced at the pain, before using the shadows to cover the entirety of my left arm. I then used my quirk to make my shoulder pop back into place. Once the fiery onslaught was over, and Spinner beaten back by Kirishima, I pulled my shield back and we readied our own attack. 

Mina used her acid to skate towards Dabi, outmaneuvering him entirely. Before he could turn around, she was throwing an acid punch at his face. But before she landed the hit, a black void opened up in front of her, and she started to fall through. She fell in and was teleported right in front of one of the "things" and it grabbed her arms. I then threw a shadow shot spike at its head before it could get a decent grip. When another one went to grab her, I grabbed her with a shade tendril and pulled her to me. I caught her before she could hit the ground with one arm, before impaling the "thing" with another tendril. I stood Mina upright and pulled the "thing" towards me before spinning it around and throwing it at Mr. Compress. I heard about him, I knew he was very dangerous if he got too close, so I had to keep him at bay. Since he was too busy with Sero and Denki, he didn't expect a body to be hitting him dead on. It hit him square across the torso, knocking him down and knocking his hat off. I then jumped into the air and fired a volley of shadowshot spikes at him, pinning him down by his clothes. I then heard the sound of roaring flame and noticed Dabi had thrown a fireball at me. I rolled towards it, grabbing a manhole cover in the process, and used it to deflect the fireball. I then swung the cover around before slamming it into Mr. Compress's stomach, knocking him down for the count.

Spinner: "Mr. Compress! You little brat! You'll pay for that!"

Spinner then rushed at me, attempting to slice me with his sword, but I dodged each swipe. I then warped behind him and grabbed his shoulders. I spun him around and Kirishima hit him square in the gut with his "Red Gauntlet". The sheer force of the strike, combined with me kicking Spinner's legs out from under him, knocked Spinner to the ground completely winding him. I then kicked him across the face to knock him out. I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. That blonde girl, Toga, stabbed me with her knife.
