Grades is such an important thing to the (l/n) family.
That's why (y/n) always spent her time in the library, studying.

That's all she ever did. Stayed in the library studying. She rather be there than at home. If she were to study at home, her parents would lecture her about good grades. So it would be much better if she studied in the library.

"Ah... I need this English book." She says to herself as she begins to look for it.
"It should be here... oh... it's up there."

Of course it had to be on the top shelf. Using the power in her thighs, she launches herself up, only for her fingers to graze the book. If she were to latch onto it, she was certain that the bookshelves would topple over. Something that she wouldn't want to happen, seeing it would be embarrassing.

She could try to climb on the shelf, but what if someone were to catch her? It was the only way though, so she had to make it quick. Latching a hand on one of the bookshelves, she prepares herself to pull herself up.
That was until a pale hand came into view and grabbed the book she was about to get.

A small gasp leaves her mouth as she lets go of the shelf.
She looks up, quite surprised seeing the tall male.

"Do you need help? Which book do you need?" He asks and the girl quirks an eyebrow.

Couldn't he tell that she was trying to grab that book all along?

"Uhh..." She starts, pointing at the book he was holding. "That one."
"Eh?" He looks at you, then the book, "but I need it." He says.

"Well... I was trying to get it first, so I think I should get it."

The tall boy nervously chuckled.

'If I don't study... I'm going to fail for sure....' The poor boy thought to himself. But he couldn't say no to this pretty girl.

"Can... can we study together then? I can't afford to fail this subject."

The girl just stared at him with a blank look. He can't be serious, can he?
Well it turned out, he wasn't kidding.

"Fine, only this one time." She says turning around and heading towards her table.

The tall boy happily followed her to the table. When he saw the contents, it was like his eyes lit up. Sure it looked messy, but he could tell that her studying skills were amazing.

"I'm Haiba Lev." He suddenly says and she turns around to look up at him.
"(l/n) (y/n)."

Haiba's eyes immediately widen.

"You're one of the top students in the school. I wasn't expecting you to be so short!" He says jokingly but the girl just narrows her eyes at him.

Haiba immediately catches her look and nervously laughs again, "eheh. Sorry." He says immediately taking a seat.

The girl didn't respond, she only sat next to him and grabbed the book from his grasp.

Let's just say that wasn't the last time that the two of them met at the library. Much to (y/n)'s dismay.
However, she couldn't help but feel a small sliver of happiness every single time she saw him.
