There he was. The exact same man that haunted Takeo's daydreams so sweetly. He didn't imagine he would be attracted to a man such as himself. A clear American man that's probably straight with kids. Two young kids. The toddler, Jack, and the baby girl in his arms.
Oddly, the man looked just as shocked as Takeo felt, his mouth hanging wide open and his blue eyes wide.
"Hi mister book man!" His toddler, Jack, had exclaimed, knocking both Takeo and his father out of their shock.
"Y-Yes, the book man must be very busy. Look for a book that you think Bella would like, okay?" He spoke softly to him.
"Otay!" Jack said, looking through the books and putting them back in their place. Is Takeo dreaming or is this kid well mannered?
"Sorry about him, he likes people a little too much," the father said.
"Yes, I can tell," Takeo murmured, his cheeks turning a pink color.
"Do I.. Do I know you from somewhere?" The father asked, stepping closer to him.
"W-We have never met."
"I've seen you before. Did we go to school together?"
Takeo slowly shook his head. "This is the first time I've ever seen you."
"Well.. I'm Thomas. My friends call me Tank. What's your name?" He extended his hand to him.
He had reluctantly shook his hand. "T-Takeo."
"Nice to meet you, Tak. We should grab dinner sometime. Maybe get to know each other?" Thomas asked, handing him a small slip of paper.
Takeo took the paper with shaking fingers, only being able to nod at this point. He could feel his cheeks burn from him blushing.
"Sounds good. Text me later?" He said smoothly, winking at him and walking out of the aisle.
Takeo only stood there now, unsure what to do. After Thomas paid for his books and left with his kids, Takeo went back to the counter. Grace couldn't help but smile at his red face.
"So you're into dilfs, huh?"
"Shut up."

After work, Grace and Takeo had went home, him telling her everything about his encounter with Thomas. She couldn't help but tease him about it.
After showering, Takeo sat on his bed and texted the number. He didn't bother putting on clothes just yet, he wanted to make sure what his plans were tonight. He sat in his towel, twiddling his thumbs waiting for a response. When the notification came, he quickly opened the message.

Thomas: Sorry, I had just put my kid down for a nap. You're off of work?
Takeo: Yes. Would you like to go out tonight?
Thomas: Sure, where to?

Takeo was unsure where to go, wondering what a good first date would be. He hasn't been on a date since middle school, and that date went horrible.
He walked into Grace's room, who was sitting at her desk, planning her weekend.
"What's a good first date?" Takeo asked.
"You're going out with him?" She asked, excitement in her voice.
"I-I don't know, maybe! What's a good first date?"
"A dinner date is always nice. Do you think he has a friend that would like me?"
"Do you want to set up a double date?"
"Yeah, why not? If they're both creeps then we can dip and get some ice cream or something."
Takeo nodded and walked back into his room, starting to type back.

Takeo: Maybe a double dinner date? Do you have a friend that my friend could go with?
Thomas: That sounds like a good idea. Who's the friend, and are they into dudes?
Takeo: Her name is Grace and she is Pan.
Thomas: Perfect! I'll see you..?
Takeo: 7 at Mizumi?
Thomas: Great, we'll see you two there!

Takeo sighed and laid back on his bed, smiling to himself. This man and himself are going on an actual date. He's an actual real person. His mind wandered to outfits to wear to the date..
