Chapter 8

3rd person pov

Reńee is so excited to go out to eat with her best friend who she has not seen in what feels like forever

They all got into a black SUV and Lorenzo looked at the both of them as they both talked to each other in their native language, completely confused on what they're saying and how they can understand each other

"English please, ladies" He says, Reńee just stared at him with an angry face, still mad at the fact that he completely ignored her for weeks and suddenly just pops up

She rolls her eyes and Lorenzo visibly clenches his jaw at her attitude, Sophia looking between the both of them kind of confused about the whole situation

They pull up to the infamous restaurant La Verona, both of the girls equally excited because they have never been to such a nice restaurant like this before

"Hi! How may I-, o-oh sorry right this way, I'm sure you will want your usually seats Mr.Russo" the waitress says looking up to the stern face

"No, we will take a booth" Lorenzo says not waiting for the poor girl to show them to their seats and picked where they're sitting

The girls followed him talking amongst themselves, they sit at the booth, Lorenzo disappointed because Reńee didn't sit with him

He sips the wine that the waiter poured and continues to watch the girls interact "oh I forgot to ask you, when is Alessandro coming back?" Reńee says finally looking at him

"He'll be back this week" he says staring her in the eyes

He knows what he's doing Reńee thought

She nods and turns back to her best friend, the Owner of the restaurant Verona Dussin, older Italian lady who flirts with Lorenzo time to time, she walks over and says "Lorenzo! Tesoro come stai?" Lorenzo stands up to hug the woman
(Translation: Lorenzo! Darling how have you been?)

"Sono stato bene, conosci un vecchio" He replies shrugging, they hug each other and Reńee watches the whole thing in our jealously, Sophia notices because Reńee clenches her hands together
(Translation: I've been fine, you know same ol)

Verona rubs her hand up and down Lorenzo's chest and they both chuckle, he's hand is on her waist as they continue to greet each other "You know we'll take care of you and your... guests" She says looking at the girls

She looks them up and down, Sophia has on a red dress with a slit on the side showing the side of her leg and Reńee has on a gold-ish dress that goes all the way to her feet, it compliments her skin

They both smile at the older lady, Reńee rolls her eyes as soon as she turns around

He can have fun with that old bitch

She walks away and Lorenzo can't miss the look of jealously on Reńee's face and smirks "Darling what's wrong?"

"Nothing" she replies quickly, she sighs "I'll be back I have to use the ladies room, just order for me if I'm not back in time" she gets up and Lorenzo watches her switch her hips as she walks to the bathroom

Before he could even finish blinking "so-" he couldn't even finish his sentence because he felt a knife held to his neck

He look up and sees Sophia with a certain type of look in her eyes, like she could kill him

"I know exactly who you are and what you do" she says, pushing the knife a little harder "if she even gets BREATHED on the wrong way, you're done"

Sophia feels a gun against her head and she pushes the knife a little harder and Lorenzo gulps "get that fucking gun off of her" not that he feared that she would kill him, more or so that Reńee would hate him for letting that happen to her best friend

His guard takes the gun off of her head and Lorenzo says "how do you know about me?" Reńee already knew so he wasn't worried Sophia telling her

"I'm Columbian, we all know about you" she says, and what she's saying is true, in Columbia they all know about the Russo family and to stir clear from them and she had a friend that she meet while she was in juvenile school to look into him more and find out every little detail about him, she couldn't just let her best friend live with anybody "Lo digo en serio, te mataré, si se lastima y no me importa tu hijo" Lorenzo understood what she said, Italian and Spanish are very similar
(Translation: I'm so serious, I will kill you if she gets hurt and I don't care about your kid)

She takes the knife off of his neck just as Reńee comes out of the bathroom "so what's good on the menu" Sophia says smiling at Lorenzo

He rubs his neck and Reńee says "What did I miss?"

"Nothing" Sophia and Lorenzo say at the same time

She shrugs it off thinking nothing of it and they continue to have a good time for the rest of the night

Reńee pov

I sit on the couch eating my leftovers, tonight was fun and I miss Sophia already

She went back home even though I begged her to stay the night because it's so dark outside tonight

I cut a little piece of my steak and put it in my mouth, I hear footsteps coming from the stairs possibly knowing who it is "Darling" is all I hear and I roll my eyes "What?" I say back to Lorenzo

"Are you coming to bed?" He says and I shake my head no "well when are you coming up to bed?"

I chuckle a little and say "I'm sleeping in my bed tonight, goodnight Lorenzo" I put another piece of steak in my mouth

Damn this steak good

"Are you mad because Verona was flirting with me tonight?" He says and I let out a laugh "I'm absolutely not mad about that, I'll sleep in your bed again when you figure it out"

This man is wild

"Darlinggg" he whines and I look at him, he's not wearing a shirt just boxers "Please, we can talk about it tomorrow, I'm tired" he says rubbing his eyes a little

"Goodnight Lorenzo" I say continuing to eat my steak, I hear him stomp up the stairs

He's such a baby

I roll my eyes and when I'm done my steak, I walk upstairs and into my room

I pull on my bonnet and climb under the covers, even though it's a little warm in here

I sigh and close my eyes getting comfortable, Bob's burgers continue to play in the background

I hear my door open and I already know who it is, I sigh and feel the bed dip, Lorenzo wraps his arms around me and I put my leg on top of his "Goodnight Darling" he says and kisses my head

God he is persistent

Omggg I'm so invested in the Sienna and Jack drama right now, who y'all think in the wrong, Sienna ain't really saying anything right now and it's making her look bad :/ She's already known for being a bad person though people just refuse to see it

I haven't updated because I honestly needed a break from everything
